My house went on the market 13th January 2025, I completed on 25th March 2025. Jon was a miracle worker, he kept me grounded. He worked hard and negotiated well between my buyer and myself. The house had some issues following the surveyors report. I followed his advice and it paid off! I also used the solicitors he recommended, such a great team. Honestly, you will not be disappointed with the effort Mortlock and Joyce put into selling a property. They done a sterling job and I can not praise them enough. Thank you, so, so much.

Having not moved for the last 17 years, we were a little out of touch but with Jon’s knowledge it was a very smooth transition. Pete and Jon are lovely guys and are fantastic at what they do. They are both very good at what they do brilliant at keeping you updated, knowledgeable, great advice, helpful and personable. Our house sold within a week of it being put on the market with Mortlock and Joyce. The fee is more expensive than high street agents but there is no comparison on the service you receive. It’s the personal touch which we really appreciated as selling your home is stressful enough. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again on the future.

Having Rather impulsively decided we was going to move home. We choose Mortlock and Joyce and they did not disappoint Pete explained the process to me, what to expect, rough timelines, aswell as the importance of a good solicitor, all things that could make the process easier. We met Jon on photo day he arrived with Matt and they did everything to make our house picture perfect, but also show that it was a lived in home. Also the video they make detailing your home really adds a nice extra touch. We thought they came out great and the 13/14 viewings suggested the same. Our house was sold within 2 weeks with multiple offers on the table which gave us the opportunity to decide who was best for us. The hard work didnt stop then Pete was fantastic in pushing the move along and very helpful with some lets say difficult solicitors and a some strange new build rules. We was kept informed of everything he knew and i honestly believe we wouldnt have moved yet without the team at Mortlock and Joyce. For those who don’t know us, Pete is our son and you will probably be thinking of course this will be a good review! The sale of our house was such a long slog, but it meant that we had 9 months of dealing with and getting to know Pete, and we can honestly say, it was the best service we've ever encountered. From start to finish of our marathon (and very stressful) sale, Pete stayed in contact with us almost daily the whole time. Quick and informal contact via a WhatsApp group made the process so much more bearable, even when things got a bit hairy towards the end! Pete & Lara were fantastic throughout the entire process. Initially with Pete, he was clear and concise when viewing my Mums property and his vision for the prospective process for us and the valuation. Then throughout the sale, which unfortunately was a more complex than usual one, involving originally a Trust on my mum's house, then towards the end with delays due to other parties in the chain. They both kept their cool and were in regular contact with the other agents either side of us whilst also keeping us regularly updated in the WhatsApp group. I would highly recommend them. We had originally used another agent for 3 months before we knew of Mortlock & Joyce and Pete and the team are miles ahead in terms of the professional approach, marketing, application of selling and approachability. We have used an Independent agent before on our previous house before selling my mum's with good results and Pete kept our faith that we made the right decision, staying with a intimate team, rather than just being another number when using a larger national agency. The gift we also received, which was a watercolor of my mum's old house was very touching and appreciated, remembering our family home of the last 40 years and it will be cherished in our new home. Thank you for everything guys on behalf of my Mum, Wife & I. Keep heading in this direction, it's certainly a formula that works 👍🏻

We have used Jonny and Pete to sell two homes plus buy a home over the last 2 years and they have provided a first class service throughout. We were really pleased with the photos and videos they provided FoC and they have been so helpful and friendly at every stage of the buying and selling process. We were worried that our two properties would be hard to sell, but their marketing and service is great and they got lots of buyers through the door and we sold our house during a static housing market in just a few weeks. It's been a tough market but they made it easy for us to sell and buy. Jonny has been so attentive and goes out of his way to make things happen and answer all our questions. Their fees are really good and I highly recommend them for buying or selling your home as you will receive a quality personal service that most high street estate agents don't give. 10/10. We don't plan on moving for a long time now but if we do we know who to ask! Thank you Jonny and Pete!
