I have just moved to Darlington using another estate agent however they were basically non-existent during the process and contacted me only once after my house sold. Venture properties were the agent for the house I was buying and they were so incredibly helpful and efficient - ringing me every week with updates and chasing people in the chain. They even brought a little gift round when I moved into my new house which was a lovely touch considering they weren’t even my estate agents. I will 100% be using Venture if I move again in future, they are really on the ball throughout the whole process and so helpful

Never again. This is the first and last time I work with them. Requests are ignored. Unapologetic. All this for a £6000 fee on an auction sale. Even off the market, I can not sell my home for a month because of their draconian conditions. So that's one month wasted, and a second where the house is doing nothing but standing un-marketed. What world are they living in!? This should be illeagal. Venture should find better solicitors and auction partners. And if nobody protests against this behavior nothing will change! 7th Nov UPDATE- Seems like Pattinsons (their auction referral partner) cancelled the auction without my consent or knowledge. I only got to know after I asked why no communication for two weeks. It's unbelievable. I never thought a local high st agent could be so casual. They managed to arrange two viewings in a month. Hardly the promise of a bidding war. Playing the blame game on me hasn't gone unnoticed either. A pack of lies was fed to me from the start. They also tie you into a six month period from withdrawal of advertising, liability of fee's should you sell with another agent. Until this practice ends I won't be doing any business with them

We were tenants at one of their managed properties and they are absolutely a cut above the other estate agents. You can tell they take prise in the properties that they let. They were extremely helpful and attentive throughout the viewing and application process despite them having to change the way they work due to the pandemic. When there were problems with the plumbing they sent someone to fix it straight away. When we were moving out, I also loved the way they gave us flexibility and plenty of notice when they were booking people to view the flat - something which not all estate agents or landlords care about.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
