Issued a revenge eviction when I complain about issues

Issued a revenge eviction when I requested work to be done. I have experienced upheaval in my rented property due to a 10-year leak being fixed (reported in June, work still not completed). Had held off on signing a new tenancy due to incomplete works. Work started, and the revised tenancy was received. Brought up the fact that the rats in the roof were back (for the 5th time) and half an hour later received a Section 21 notice.

My own experience with steps was brilliant.Their agents are very kind and polite.We bought recently our first home through them.They show me the property couple of months before and even when we had some problems with taking a loan from the bank they were kind and advice us what can we do to not loose the property.They have very nice mortgage adviser too but will not force you to use.You can use your own broker if you wish so.The agency is really nice.I was really happy with their service.I can really recommend this agency to everyone who want to buy a home.

I can't recommend this Estate Agent enough , they were great all the way through our sale, especially Rebecca White. When we were stressed just before exchange and getting no where with the solictors, Rebecca found out what the issue was and sorted it out , only her perseverance going backwards and forwards, we were able to exchange. I Sold my property through steps however my Overall experience was not great. Customer dealing was really poor it was very daunting experience. As an landlord I shouldn't be calling my agent to ask for an update or explain them how to proceed with the transaction. As an estate agent (who charges a fee) they should make sure transition goes smooth instead of making it stressful. Been forced to sold my property who had given false information but agents weren't able to pick that up or was it IGNORED 🧐 More suitable buyers were ignored and went ahead with lowest offer 😡 WHY?
