I am not a UK citizen but needed to acquire a property in Scotland. It was a blessing to be assigned to Sandy Grant, a partner at Thorntons, and to work with him to accomplish my goal. As a first-time home buyer in Scotland, I knew nothing about the rules and processes. Sandy always answered my questions patiently and adequately. He also shared his legal expertise and local knowledge in making offers and structuring the deal. It was a small transaction and yet he treated us like a VIP. Through his and his team's help, the property transaction was completed in just two months. I highly recommend Thorntons and of course Mr. Grant!

The sale of our flat was completed at the end of March 2022. The property was a two-bedroom flat built in a residential neighbourhood of Edinburgh in 1986. Thorntons Estate Agency undertook the valuation and marketing of the property and the sales conveyancing was carried out by Thorntons Law. The marketing of the property, which was in good condition, required six months of promotion during the lull in demand on account of Covid. The selling price matched the valuation. The conveyancing itself was very efficiently completed within two months. The services of the professional staff at Thornton's were first-class. Thornton's fees charge were a fair reflection of the services we obtained.
