GoogleI cannot begin to explain the problems my boyfriend and I had with these estate agents. My landlord ended up changing estate agents because of how bad it was, the biggest problem for my boyfriend and I was not being taken seriously, every problem took weeks to sort out. We were both spoken to and emailed in a very rude manner by estate agents and contractors that were sent out to fix things. One of the many reoccurring problems we had was two of our doors jammed shut when they were closed over. I was locked in my living room for hours one night and when I emailed asking why it had not been addressed I was told “you were advised not to close the doors in the house”.
We have had damp in our living room since last January and a contractor was sent onto the roof on three separate occasions to find the problem but failed to do so. The first contractor that was sent up with our new estate agents found the problem first time they went up on the roof.
They did not know if we had a garden or not, then they did not know what part of the garden was ours and then it took months to get our part of the garden cleared of all the rubbish previous tenants had left, even then it still was not done properly.
One of the times my boyfriend called up to complain about the many problems we were facing he was told about how many properties they have to manage.
I could go on and on because the problems were endless but it really is unacceptable the whole experience was terrible and I just wanted to make people aware, especially younger tenants.
