My review is in relation to an employee called Mikesh! Last year we had been let down by every property and only had one week to move in. Mikesh helped us get the property so quickly and efficiently. I am self employed but had enough and unlike other estate agents , who instantly turned me down before hearing out my situation, Mikesh listened and helped make sure I passed referencing. We left our tenancy early and needed a new tenant ASAP and Mikesh was on job. We only had a week left and he found a new tenant within a week to move in the day after we left. We would've ended up paying double rent for two months and he was so on job when we let him know the severity of the situation. He is a star at what he does and I feel so lucky that we had someone so proactive helping us Amazing work Mikesh!PositiveProfessionalism

We have put our trust to sell our property beginning of 2021 with Townsends and Jordan Taylor was the one who handled the sale and all the communications followed. Jordan has the best customer service anyone can be dealing with, very quirky guy. All of the team in Towsends in George St. Croydon Are all very professional. I can recommend their service. We sold our property with them with in 6 months considering the problem of Pandemic that all of us suffering. All I can say is all the team were all superbly professional. Not to forget Claire her second to none best customer service. Polite and helpful.

Claire was instrumental and key to my purchase going through in time. I also want to thank Sophie for facilitating the sale in the end stages of completion. As a first time buyer, when you don't know the process, you want an estate agent to guide you through the process and chase the relevant people on your behalf and that's exactly what Townends did. They were the glue that held communication between all parties together. Claire went above and beyond by organising a secondary solicitor for me that was required at the 11th hour of my purchase and without that insider knowledge/contacts I don't think my sale would have gone through. My details passed on to an energy company without my consent

My energy contract was taken over by an energy company without my consent and without Informing me. When I challenged them, they said that my letting agent for the property in this case one of Stirling Ackroyd agents had given my details to a partnership that has an agreement with the energy company. I was not very happy about this as this energy contract transfer has caused issues for me. The letting agency obviously has this agreement. I found it shocking that they told this partnership the date that my flat was going to be empty and when to take over the energy supply without notifying me and without my express consent.This is very upsetting. Not sure I can trust them again.

Experienced and professional service with a complex portfolio

We have been clients of Stirling Ackroyd (with their letting service) for about two years, and they have been highly professional and knowledgeable. They have managed property issues in a timely fashion as they arise, including handling a complex refurbishment, transferring from a previous (and inept) managing agent, and some slightly difficult tenants. They are also on top of all of the relevant regulatory matters, and do everything in a legally correct manner (to the best of my limited knowledge). I would happily recommend their services.

Although I found a different property from the one Townsend showed me I have to say that I was really very impressed with how kind and patient and attentive Eimantas was. He was proactive in contact the landlord and honest in how I would make an offer. He also sent me follow up properties that were very close to my specification requirements would have happily rented through townsends but something with an earlier move in date came up.
