We noticed we had faulty appliances and we contacted our property manager Clive Martin from SA about it. Clive organised a contractor to come identify the problem the next day and the faulty appliances were replaced in no time. Clive was extremely helpful and swift in his actions, which made our life easier in a difficult situation. We find him an excellent manager who is easy to reach and efficient.

GoogleThe customer service at Townsend (specifically Alpha Gayle) was exceptional from start to finish. As a very particular customer with a lot of demands, he was very accommodating when I was searching for the perfect property. During the process of buying my first property and having to deal with difficulties and a busy work schedule, Alpha assisted in chasing up queries on my behalf and updating me as soon as possible. I would thoroughly recommend Townends Estate Agent to everyone and a bonus, retrospectively, I would use their recommended solicitor after I faced a lot of issues with the one I had selected.

We are on the process of buying a property sold via Stirling Ackroyd. Spencer de Jonge has been our main point of contact, so far we are happy with the process.Overall:- Polite when showing us around, not pushy- Good at responding to emails- Did try to get us validated by their own mortgage advisor, but we had no issues when we decided to proceed with our own.

My tenant paid rent of over £11000 to Philip Holland from the Croydon branch, and up till now he has not transferred my money. He has collected his fees but depriving me from my funds.He has asked me for ID check as the LL. This is not something that he told me about when I first asked him to evaluate the property and it is not something in the Terms of Business. I do not know where he got that from. If it is not laid down in the Terms of Business he should not be asking me for ID check. So, please can someone ask Philip Holland to return my money asap. it is not his money it is my money and I need it.It is not fair. He is depriving me of my money and I am missing out on interest that could have been earned.I will not recommend anyone to Stirling Ackroyd and this will be the last time I use their services.I need my money.

She always replied to my emails promptly, was always polite and patient and was the only one who gave us confidence that something would be achieved and followed through with. We were not at all pleased with the service from Stirling Ackroyd, but would like thank Natalie for everything she did to help us.

Warning: Shady Tactics Ahead!Writing this review under the name Daniel to protect privacy. My experience with Stirling Ackroyd was a disappointment. They promise one thing on the phone but do another via email, leading to confusion. The agents are rude and arrogant, showing no respect. They also use manipulative tactics to push buyers into overpaying. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Stirling Ackroyd!!!

Stirling Ackroyd were very patient and thorough during the sale of my flat. I found that everyone I dealt with was very professional and courteous at all times too. It was a challenging task to sell my flat during a pandemic, but they gave me great advice the entire time and really helped guide me through the process. Special mention to Sam Currie for going the extra mile for me too!

I've been renting my flat through Stirling Ackroyd for the past 4 years, James Banister is the managing agent of the flat and I can highly recommend him. He promptly responds to all my emails about issues I may have with the flat (e.g. hot water or boiler related) and every single time he has sent maintenance to fix any issues as soon as possible. I can always rely on James.

Am very sad that trust pilot doesn’t allow me to put 0 stars. 1 is far far too generous, and frankly it’s offensive to businesses who have worked hard to earn their 1 star out of 5. In any case, DO NOT TRUST THE 5 STAR REVIEWS - THEY ARE ALL FAKE.I wrote another review a while ago that they tried to have taken down (and somehow it’s miraculously disappeared now). They fill these pages with fake reviews and petition to get all the bad ones taken down. Maybe if they spent less time combatting people’s genuine anger and disgust with their service and more time actually doing their jobs this complete and utter shitshow of a company wouldn’t be receiving reviews like this one.I’ve lived in my property for 9 months now. On Day 1 check-in we noticed the kitchen tap was broken. It’s 9 months later, the tap still doesn’t work. How is it even possible to be that incompetent and to have that little regard for your customers? Stirling Ackroyd you should hang your collective heads in shame. If you want this review to be taken down, fix my goddamn tap!!

GoogleAbsolutely TERRIBLE! After viewing this property, certain improvements were agreed and a move-in date was set. Due to work, I was only able to confirm the property's condition over a call with agents at Townends, South Norwood who advised all was good. Move-in date is here, I show up with all my stuff in a van and yep, THE REFURBISHMENT IS STILL ON-GOING. I'm then told just a day is required to complete. I leave my stuff in the house for 48 hours. After much dirt and saw dust on my goods, I was informed that the council was not signing off on certain changes so I could no longer live in the property. I had to find an emergency house to rent the following day. Do not useI I dealt with Louise Simmonds, Hayley Fuller and Aleksandra Cyndrowska of the Townends, South Croydon branch. Be on alert if you have to deal with this branch.

GoogleI would like to say that the customer service I received from Miss Francis was outstanding. Most agents rush you and after a long drawn out they take you to properties that don’t even match your speck as if they believe that they can magically change your requirements by showing you something you haven’t asked for... any way I digress, Miss Francis demonstrated she was interested in what I was looking for and more importantly interested in knowing me the customer. Her smile was cooling on this hot day and her attitude was just real and natural. Thank you Miss Francis keep representing your branch the way you do madam your a leader !
