GoogleI have had a pleasure dealing with Carley rust Williams in the sales team, she conducted a valuation on my home and had brilliant knowledge of the area. She has continued to stay in touch and unlike most agents she is not pushy and has continued to be patient with me. I will be using Carley and her team to sell my home in the future.

TrustpilotIncompetence and lies on a legendary scale!
I had my property up for sale with Foxtons, an offer collapsed, and so I decided to consider rental. After I spoke to the rental department, they took a renter into my property without my permission, hadn't even signed a contract. Luckily, the person liked it and offered a good rent. The agent lied to the renter and me, messed up three contracts, so by the time he signed the fourth contract on my behalf, the renter had been in my flat for 10 days. Lucky he signed! He told me that I could not protect the deposit...lie. He told me that the second 6-month rent payment would be paid on the fourth month...lie. And it was not paid in advance on the 5th month like every other agent; the tenant is now late with the second 6-month payment. I complained to the manager, but he ignored my complaints. The whole office is corrupt. Really, do yourself a favour, there are good letting agents out there, Foxtons is not one of them.

GoogleHorrendous services!! I wasn’t the one who chose this agent. It was the Landlord who used this unprofessional and irresponsible agent to let the house to me and my family. I got my first month deposits put in their account and supposedly I should get back my deposits from the agent when the lease completes. The lease completes in the end of Sep and I have chased the landlord to inform the agent that the house was returned in good condition. I provided the banking details precisely on Oct 12th and my family member provided the consent unanimously on Oct 13th. I waited more than a week and I still couldn’t find the deposits returned to my bank account. I had to press them again by myself and they said that the bank details was incorrect. I double checked, it is correct and sent them another email to ask them what would have gone wrong. The Agent went MIA. They didn’t respond to my email and I asked them again. The respondent deferred me to ask the deposits team for the updated status. Again, they did not respond to my email. This is very unprofessional and irresponsible as an agent. They hold up my deposits without actively following up for the client. I do not ask them to do things in Asian way as I already expected they would delay just like the national rail but I did not expect them to delay for weeks. Those are supposedly my money, and they hold it up like confiscating my private asset. It is absolutely outrageous. If anyone who wants to use this realtor or agent, Trust me!! please DON’T

GoogleFull marks to the Foxtons Croydon team for successfully selling a flat with cladding issues still to be remediated. They helped find the right buyer, direct them to the right mortgage lenders and find both us as seller and the buyer the right solicitors who had the expertise to act on this sort of sale. As agents for me as a landlord they also provided high quality tenants for 6 years and provided property management. The Foxtons online portal was a great help in providing accounts for tax returns. Huge thanks to Carley Rust-Williams and her team on the sales side and Dipan Shah and his team on the lettings side.

TrustpilotNew X Foxtons is appalling
New Cross Gate letting office is appalling. I had a misfortune to invite them a few years back for valuation and then when changed my mind, asked them to delete me from their database as wasn't planning to do anything with my house. And guess what every year I am receiving unsolicited calls inquiring about valuation, letting, selling. They promise to delete my number every time they call once every half a year in average, pathetic.

TrustpilotThey take the money & abandon…
They take the money and then abandon their landlords. Do not rent a property with these agents as there is no customer support or response. I have had a couple of issues and queries - I have had to ring several times with long wait times and email multiple times for a response, still waiting three weeks later. They never reply or respond costing me hours of wasted time and stress.

Landlords don’t be fooled by the nice offices and friendly staff. They are ruthless. They take 13 percent + VAT for rent collection only and lock you in for 5 years. It’s not the tenants we need protecting from. It’s the ruthless agents.

GoogleJust want to give a big shout out to Chelsea at Foxtons Croydon. She has helped me at a difficult time to find the perfect home (and I mean home). And although we didn't succeed the first time around (which was down to me), she never gave up and knew the right place for me when I came back. Funny - angels are never where you expect them but I can tell you, Chelsea is one. Make no mistake, however, she's smart, eloquent and tenacious beyond belief!

Non-existent communication. Viewings done by an unprepared team: didn't know level of service charge, exposure, if the appliances were new or not, size of the flat or rooms. One claimed we had replaced the kitchen (we hadn't), another that the Hue Lights we installed were staying in the flat for the buyer (we never said that).
