GoogleI'd highly recommend Foxtons Croydon Estate Agents for their exceptional handling, care and service. In particular, Lewis and Carley have been a pleasure to work with, very responsive, professional, approachable. As a first-time property buyer, they reassured me, were patient, kept me well-informed with regular updates, listened to my concerns or questions and proactively acted on them. They've been a pleasure to work with from the start, and you can clearly tell they care about their clients' experience.
Thank you Lewis for your engagement and involvement in making sure that I found a property that fitted my needs, budget and preferences. Thank you Carley for looking after the process with your expertise, care and knowledge.
This can be a complex and overwhelming experience but it's felt smooth and manageable.
I couldn't recommend Foxtons Croydon enough, and I won't hesitate in using their services again in the future, should I need to. Thank you so much!

TrustpilotAs the owner of a flat
As the owner of a flat, I struggled for months to find tenants. I tried renting it myself but mostly scammers or people who waste my time only, then worked with several agencies - including one that promised a quick result but instead damaged my flat and pressured me constantly with calls and messages, day and night. By the time I found Foxtons' letter in my letterbox, I was ready to give up.

GoogleFoxtons is always the agent that I go to first when searching for a new property. The quality of service, speed and knowledge is second to none. I had a change in circumstances which meant I needed to find a property fast. I was very impressed with how Dipan, Suganth, Georgia and Monica from two completely separate branches came together to give me a customer experience like no other. Georgia was on hand at all times and worked extremely efficiently to solve my property search. Massive kudos to the team!

My flatmate had come from outside london to view a property in finsbury park and was only told once he got to the appointment that david morgan was not going to make the appointment due to being unwell, extremely unprofessional, he should have gotten one of his colleagues to cover the flat viewing or atleast message us in advance.

GoogleThere is a big problem with a manager at Foxtons in Croydon who was abusive and dishonest with me.
His name is Dipan Shah. He harassed me and intimidated me during a letting process. He caused me fear and alarm by yelling at me and being aggressive and rude. I'm still considering if it's something I need to report to the police because I'm not sure.
He called me directly even though I was dealing with his employee Scott working under him and he had no reason to call me other than to be rude and aggressive as far as I can tell because Scott, his employee, was handling everything in the letting process with me.
Why do I say this?
Because Dipan demanded I sign a tenancy agreement immediately without even having time to review it. This was the intimidation I am referencing and his harassment was what almost pushed me to sign without reading. Thankfully I did not because that agreement was not what his employee Scott and I agreed to when we were working together on the offer.
Background:
1. Foxtons took weeks getting me all the information I needed on a property I was interested in making an offer.
2. I was sent a tenancy agreement late at night on the 22nd of November.
3. The next morning I am woken by a call from Dipan on the 23rd of November.
4. Dipan is screaming at me to sign the agreement demanding to know if I was "serious about this deal".
5. He tells me if I am serious I need to sign the agreement immediately.
6. I refused because I had not had time to read it.
7. After reading the agreement I realise it was not the agreement Scott and I negotiated in text message.
He also appeared to discriminate against me because of my self-employment history and income during referencing after I didn't sign the incorrect tenancy agreement.
Now mind you it was no problem for me to sign the incorrect agreement PRIOR to the reference checks being complete at this point and Dipan knew I was still in the reference process.
I know he was in contact with the reference agency (Let Alliance) doing referencing because he stated he was in contact with them.
When I refused to sign his contract (which was not correct) my referencing process mysteriously came to a halt and someone named Lauren who works for Let Alliance started making up reasons why I couldn't pass referencing.
I know she was making up reasons because:
1) She kept changing the reason I could not be approved (shifting the goalposts); and,
2) Lauren did not follow the policy on referencing Self Employment income.
How do I know this?
I have their policy for referencing and Lauren did not follow the policy for me being "self-employed" which was to use two years of income. She only used 1 year from 2022-2023. It's now almost 2024 and my income has increased every year since 2022.
From there Dipan injected himself several more times also changing the goalposts and lying about the process in what seemed like an attempt to interfere with my referencing process Let Alliance.
Just a few days previous he was bullying and intimidating me into a hasty decision without having cleared referencing now he was making excuses that violated written policy and changing those reasons upon every successful refutation of mine.
There are several instances I have in writing where Dipan is proved to be conflicting with either himself or the Foxtons or Let Alliance policy and process to discriminate against me. This is my experience and then when confronted about it he began gaslighting me.
The rest of the details I will save in case there is a solicitor who reads this and thinks Foxtons manager did indeed commit criminal or civil offense against me and recommends me to obtain a legal advisor.

GoogleIt has been a pleasure dealing with Foxtons to find our new home ! Everyone has been so helpful & friendly in what can be the most stressful time of moving house! I would especially like to thank Salonee as she went above & beyond to get our contract amended in a tight deadline to meet our notice period so we could secure our moving date. GoogleOne Star (Zero if I could)
Be very careful when dealing with Foxtons. Always ask for a complete written breakdown of all fees (including VAT) before signing anything.
I was told the introduction fee would be 11% of 12 months’ rent, only to later be charged double after the fact when Foxtons claimed the fee applied to the full 24-month tenancy, something never disclosed upfront. This was a clear misrepresentation of information.
I trusted them to act transparently and in good faith, but that trust was clearly misplaced. I would not recommend Foxtons to anyone. I will be filing a compliant with The Property Ombudsman.

GoogleWorking with carley and her sales team in foxtons has been a joy. From the moment I met carley it has been peaceful. They have worked so efficient and quick. Photos was booked in within hours of signing up and I had met the whole team the following day.
I used another agency previously and had the worst experience, I would definitely recommend the higher fee at foxtons as the service is exceptional. Thank you sales team!

He has a great attention to detail, always follows-up on what he said he does and provides prompt communications and updates. I have really appreciated this when searching for the apartment, as it allowed me to quickly decide on what to do next.
On top of that, he has a great rapport-building skills, down-to-earth and easy to talk to.
Hands down, one of the best experiences I had working with the estate agents - thank you Foxtons.

Foxtons wrongly extended our tenancy end date then withheld our deposit on non payment of rent grounds. Even after acknowledging their 'error' it took 2 months for them to correct it. The money was only returned after a letter before action for a small claims court was sent. Other customers are advised to exercise extreme caution with how deposits are safeguarded.

I was spoken to quite rudely on the phone with agents pushing for an earlier viewing or just scheduling a viewing without asking for availabilities. I have told agents multiple times to stop calling me but this was not heard. I even removed my information from the portal and noted that I am no longer looking for a property. I still receive 3-4 calls a day whilst informing them that I do not want to rent through them.

TrustpilotFoxtons Letting Commission…
Just to share my experience and warn anybody thinking of using Foxtons letting services. Foxtons will be vey happy to take full year commission in advance but if your tenant moves out before the full year period, Foxtons will not refund your commission in cash but just leave the amount as a credit in your account even you no longer have the intention to rent out your property. Area director of Foxtons claimed that this is in line with Foxtons terms of business. Beware before you choose Foxtons letting services.

I truly do not understand who in their right mind has ever rated Foxtons 5 stars. Unfortunately I have been in contact with them at multiple occasions but I am happy to say that today was the last. They arrange viewings for properties that has already been let, WHY not cancel if anything happened between the time of booking and the viewing actually taking place. This seems to be a common occurrence for Foxtons. Other than that, the agents are the rudest human beings I have ever spoken to. Surely I’ve not been unfortunate enough to have come across the ONLY employees at Foxtons that hate their jobs so this seems to be a big issue over there. When calling it seems as though you just ruined their entire day. I’m SORRY I was interested in the properties you have listed, that by the way isn’t even available. If calls like these are a displeasure to the agents I would suggest removing the ads.
