We had an amazing experience with Foxtons, and a huge thank you goes especially to Luca, who was an absolute lifesaver for us. We were in a really difficult spot after being let down badly by another agent, with a very tight deadline to find a new place. Luca stepped in right away. He arranged a viewing for us the very same day we enquired, kept up excellent communication throughout, and worked tirelessly to fast track the referencing and agreement process. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. Based on my experience, I would advise new landlords to be extremely cautious with Foxtons. The agent’s explanations of commission and contract terms were unclear, and I ended up in a lengthy dispute over unexpected fees. Which is escalated to ombudsman and will probaly go to the court. Never trust a word of Foxton's agents. Always insist on written communication and carefully review all documents before signing. I would not recommend Foxtons to others based on my experience.

I had a very disappointing experience with this estate agent, which ultimately resulted in me losing out on a property purchase. There were significant and unnecessary delays in validating my offer. Despite being a serious buyer and ready to proceed, the process was slowed down by excessive and intrusive requests for financial information that went far beyond what is typically required at the offer stage. I was asked not only to involve my broker directly but also to provide highly sensitive details, including photographs of my savings accounts. What was particularly concerning was the complete lack of transparency around how my personal data would be handled. No clear explanation was given regarding data protection, storage, or GDPR compliance, which made the situation feel both unprofessional and unsafe. Overall, the process felt disorganised, invasive and poorly managed. As a result of these delays and the way my information was handled, I lost the opportunity to secure the property. I would strongly urge others to exercise caution when dealing with this agent.

From the very beginning, Luca was exceptionally professional, responsive, and genuinely committed to helping us secure the right home. What truly sets Luca apart is how far he goes beyond the standard responsibilities of an agent.
