Cray and Nortons are a genuine and most trusted family agents with ample experience and excellent customer service skills. What distinguishes them from other agents in my opinion is, the fact that they empower the customers to make judgemental decisions by only providing the available options and sufficient time to think about their choices ( no hard sale approach). They have a great team of partners around them to facilitate the buying process. A special mention goes to Darren and Archie for their professional approach and empathy. They both are always available and proactive to find solutions to the challenges I faced through out the process. The way they chase the cases and provide updates on a timely manner is exceptional. All in all, I highly recommend Cray and Nortons for their genuine, assured and interactive service.

I had sold my property through a small estate agent in a timely and efficient manner. Unfortunately I attempted to purchase three times through large estate agents and was frustrated by extremely poor service and communication leading to three failed purchases. Probably because they couldn't sell me this and that. Fortunately on the fourth attempt I purchased through Cray and Norton. They had extensive knowledge of the area and the property and any gaps were addressed by email the next day. All enquiries answered within 24 hours. Responsive communication through them to the seller of the property. Needless to say the sale progressed to a speedy conclusion to the satisfaction of all parties due to Archie and Darren being proactive at every stage. Due to the service differential I'm sure this agent will continue to thrive even in this tough market.

Appalling disgusting - no service. Appointment confirmed via email for a viewing at 12.00 - estate agent Sam was a no show. On calling the office spoke to a quote 'Saturday boy' called Henry - who stated wasn't in diary - and he would try to contact Sam. After waiting half an hour - we called again - to be advised there was a viewing at 2.30 pm that day. We then received another call from Henry, to say yes we could attend the viewing at 2.30 and straight onto another one 2 roads away - yep you guessed right - Sam again was a no show. Henry said he was on his way - gave up after half an hour. However, I would like to add Sam was seen on both occasions going into the office - the second time with his lunch as we passed the office on the way to the 2.30 appointment.How do I know it was Sam - I have met him before!!! What a waste of my Saturday.

We selected Cray and Norton based on our previous experiences as buyers; although the house we sold through them had reached us originally via a rival in town. They certainly lived up to our high expectations. We felt Darren and all the team conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism at all times, and all our queries were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Everybody knew the current state of play whenever we asked - they're clearly on top of their game. Our buyers were dealt with courteously and quickly too as Cray and Norton worked hard to broker the deal. We felt the listing (refined in consultation with us) was a good representation of our property and it certainly generated a lot of interest. After a false start with our first buyers they relisted us quickly and secured a completion in three months. They advocated for us and we achieved the price we had hoped. We've no hesitation in recommending Cray and Norton to anybody looking to sell in the area.

I have been renting number of properties from different agencies in London. I went for this agency despite the quite high fee compering to others because I liked one of the properties they had. Everything was fine when we move in. Apparently the flat was professionally clean and I cannot complain that we got the flat very dirty however no one clean under the wardrobes, the fridge and the washing mashine was only clean where the top of the surfaces was not covered under the kitchen shelf, the other part was left very greasy. The reason why I gave this poor review is because of how we were treated after we gave the notice. The agents at first didn't wanted to work with 24h notice before viewing. They tried to call me to let me know if someone can come to see the flat in two hours. After my complain they work with 24h notice. Half of the viewing we supposed to have didn't happen. They didn't bother to let me know about this that the viewing was cancelled. Most of the cases I had to call them to check if there will be someone coming or no. There was a situation when I let them know I will be out of the country and if they have any viewings they can contact my partner not me but looks like they ignore it because they still contacted me via email and phone calls. One more thing I wasn't aware of before renting the property - one of the owners of the company is also responsible for making the inventory check-in and check-out. I would prefer to have independent company to do it. Our check out was carried more than a week after we gave the keys back...

From first viewing on 2nd Jan, I am now renting a beautiful property which suits all my family needs. My personal situation has been very stressful but Andrea and Darren have been amazing meaning that the whole transaction has been handled very smoothly. Initially used a larger local firm and felt pressurised and uncomfortable. So went to Cray and Norton and what a change. Each person from the directors to the staff were kind and knowledgeable and more importantly caring and interactive. They were always professional and punctual and carried me over the line in what is a difficult situation. This is a family business and it’s a credit to the family that the younger generations are just as good as their elders. I’m thankful for their help and would recommend them to anyone.
