I am an experienced BTL landlord and needed to use a management service for a property in SW London. I made the mistake of using Barnard Marcus. I have never experienced such poor communication, and in short an unacceptable level of service from a firm that is a member of a professional body. Do not use.

The worst agency I have ever dealt with in London. I wouldn’t even know where to begin to talk about the issues both me as a tenant and my landlord have had. Incompetent people, liars, corner cutters, lack all types of communication skills. Avoid avoid avoid. Especially the Wandsworth branch.

I have on several occasions been interested in property for auction by Barnard Marcus, however as a buyer I have experienced terrible service, many times not even receiving a reply to emails. Sellers with properties under 500,00 should look elsewhere in my opinion

Instructed repair work done, but 4 months, nothing done!Saying “it’s not our responsibility”Any appliances not working. Say “ not normal work to check appliance”4 months! Nothing done. Loss 4 months of income!

Went in Bernard Marcus Putney today it was like a kids playgroup had a kid being looked after by his mum who works there was more interested in keeping he son entertained then work Branch manger was not in apparently left early No sales staff Absolutely a joke

A total waste of time, it almost seems that they are doing you a favour to give you information. The Epsom office kept me 2 weeks waiting for a reply and after chasing them they gave me an unbelievable ridicolous answer.Bad, really bad experience.

Poor customer service, complete lack of information on flat purchase, staff just don't seem bothered at all that information that massively affects the purchase gets sent, they don't bother responding to requests and information in a timely manner. Overall a complete lack of respect for their customers
