We have just finished moving to our new place thanks to Laura the manager. She helped us with a very complex case of leasehold apartment purchase. Not only Laura helped us to navigate throughout a very long and complicated process, but did an excellent job keeping us updated on a regular basis and proactively progressing the purchase. Most of all we were really impressed with her knowledge; she was able to communicate most complex issues with our solicitor directly and help to iron out a lot of problems, plus she managed to pull all parties involved together to make things moving in the right direction. Her experience and input was priceless, and she went the extra mile to make sure we will move in before School Applications deadline! We are pleased to recommend Bairstow Eves to anyone looking to sell or buy in the South Croydon area.

Estate Agency is hard work right now, and you need to have an agent who is prepared to put in the hours to deliver. In the Croydon Branch, Elliot and Tenaha both worked really hard to sell my house, and I appreciate all the work they put in. I'd recomend them at Bairstow Eves.

Very unprofessional service, I would say ridiculous Our “agent” (young men with long blond hairs) was supposed to let us know about a property, he knew that our offer hasn’t been accepted due landlord wanted family only He said i’ll call you, he never called us back, we had to call him, multiple times, his answer was, Monday Tuesday i’ll let u know, Monday again, he didn’t called back, he didn’t answer to 2 email, so we call him back on Tuesday and he said, maximum at 12/13 pm i’ll give u an answer, we didn’t hear nothing back from him again, we’ve been calling the agency probably 20/30 times, nobody picked up the phone, the next morning, Wednesday we call them back again, an other agent picked up the phone saying my colleague is not here but your offer is not been accepted already few days ago… that’s ridiculous

I scheduled a viewing with the South Croydon Branch of Bairstow Eves with Tarique Cruickshank. I rushed from work to make the appointment, as I did not want to keep him waiting. I arrived on time and was greeted a few minutes later by a young gentleman, whose name I do not know, who drove up the outside the property and advised me 'we don't have the keys'. He then proceeded to tell me that the manager had the keys, and was running behind. No timeframe provided. No attempt to resolve the issue. The man offered me a lift home - which 1) I am not going to get into a strangers car 2) there is a pandemic - why would I get into an enclosed space with someone? I asked when they became aware of the late-running viewings and missing keys. I was advised they were notified at 4.30pm... I then enquired as to why they did not tell me at the time... They said that they figured I was already on my way. Interestingly, I was emailed earlier that day to check I was still attending, AND texted 3 times that day to check... Perhaps they knew even before then... What tops it off, is that no one from Bairstow Eves have contacted me to reschedule the viewing, nor acknowledge their mistake and lack of professionalism since Friday (it is now Monday evening...) So I feel very sorry for the vendor of this property and would question their capabilities strongly.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

Our contact was mostly with Laura the manager who throughout the process did an excellent job keeping us updated on a regular basis, agreeing sales at the full asking price and proactively progressing the sales through to completion. For us great communication is paramount, just as important as results. Laura delivered on both, her experience and input was invaluable, she went the extra mile providing an exceptional service and keeping in constant contact with us, sometimes outside of office hours and on her days off.
