A frustrating experience from start to finish re the sale of my flat. Everything that could have been mishandled was - even the exit from the agreement, where the Purley office claimed that I had misunderstood the contract terms. I ended up having to call another Bairstow Eves to discuss the terms, to confirm that I was being gaslit - only then did the Purley office agree to the exit. Even after the full term of the sole agency agreement was served, they still didn't manage to get a "for sale" sign up outside the flat! Switching to another local agent, we had zero issues. Avoid this agency, they give estate agents a bad name.

Poor quality viewings and service

The Clapham branch sales negotiator was late for the viewing and didn’t ask anyone from the office to notify us (15 minutes late). He had also double booked the appointment, the entire booking was a bit of a disorganised mess. There was a fair bit he wasn’t aware of and generally wasn’t that helpful. The specifications I gave weren’t followed in the viewings. I was ignored when asked if I wanted a broker and my contact information was shared when I had asked for it not to.

Amy, Will and Petya have been excellent in finding me the best property that matches my personal liking and budget. They've assisted me in my search 3 times and the process is so smooth and straight forward that I got my tenancy agreement in less than 2 weeks(including referencing) from the day I viewed the property and I put my offer forward on all 3 occasions. Very knowledge letting team as well as administration. I will recommend them to anyone looking for a new place.

Absolutely disgusting service

Absolutely disgusting service, they come across very professional when they value the house, but once its on the market the staff are unhelpful and take days to answer emails. The details were incorrect online as it was put live without us agreeing the details, the pictures were awful and the one thing we did make them change. There has been no effort to sell the house, only having one viewer in two months. Only to find out that the contract is for 4 months too, devastated. Stay away from this company.
