I wouldn't recommend this agent, as a property investor i have dealt with different solicitors, agents and vendors but the recent property i bought with them was the worst experience in 10years of buying properties. From the beginning i was advised that solicitors they use are extremely good (which wasn't the case), the vendor and a fellow employee (Tyler) and the agent were extremely unprofessional during the whole process and the parties were constantly blaming each other for mishaps or things not being progressed. no sense of creating a 'win win' situation for e.g. the vendor wanted to charge £100.00 for a fridge when you can buy a new one for £150.00. ridiculous! it wasn't about the price difference but rather no sense of commerciality. don't trust the solicitors they use (regardless of what the agent states) and don't trust the agents!

Like lots of people I didn't know who to choose to help me sell my house. I was downsizing and moving to a different area so there was lots of change in my life and although I didn't think that moving would be plain sailing I wanted a quick and trouble free journey. A friend couldn’t recommended S&G enough, and I am SO glad I contacted them! The Croxley team were really professional and extremely quick to jump on any issue that arose. The journey wasn't without its problems and scary moments but I can't help thinking that if I had used anyone else I would have thrown in the towel and stayed put! Recommend, recommend, recommend.

When I decided to move nearer to my family it was a huge decision. I had been in my house for 39 years, had been widowed a few years previously and found the whole thought of the process terrifying. To add to my concern, my house was "in need of modernisation" which a lot of viewers don't want. However, when Sewell & Gardner came to see it they didn't focus on the negatives but praised the positives. Sewell & Gardner were brilliant! They always phoned to update me when they said they would, even if they had no new information. They included me in decisions, rather than telling me what to do and emailed my daughter to keep her updated as well. They accompanied viewings and gave me prompt feedback. No one can make things happen in the process of selling or buying a house and Sewell & Gardner constantly chased to keep things moving and joined in my delight when I got the exchange settled. They were, throughout, amazing!

What used to be a part of quite a good estate agency network has turned out to be a branch with poor customer engagement due to perhaps the recent change of branch leadership. Not only do the different staff of same branch hold different views with same client, they also now lack client empathy and priority. If there was a half star possible I would have done that.
