GoogleChris and Tyler are the best estate agents I have ever dealt with in the Rickmansworth area. Our chain repeatedly ran into issues caused by poor work from our vendors solicitor. Several times Chris saved us, backed up by Tyler. They tell the truth and get the job done. Top professionals. There is no question who we'll go to when we come to sell.

GoogleVery happy. Professional photographer for the photos, all viewings accompanied and feedback provided swiftly. A lengthy and drawn out legal process in the chain was chased regularly by the team and our sale and purchase completed at the agreed sale price. A special mention to Ben for all is hard work, ably assisted by his colleague Ollie. Would certainly recommend.

The wonderful team at Rickmansworth have just assisted us in purchasing our first home. The staff here are so friendly and helpful, even after 100 phone calls they are egar to help and assist. Amy in particular has went above and beyond her role with her constant kindness, patience and understanding. Amy couldn't do enough for us during this process and was always around to help explain things ( a million times over in my case) and ensure we had full understanding and acknowledgment of the process and what steps are next. I am beyond grateful for everything she has done for us. Thank you to this amazing team ⭐️

GoogleGreat team, found them confident without being OTT. As is always the case there are issues and blips with house purchase but Chris and the team kept me informed and helped iron out the process. Had methodical approach to valuation when in 'sales mode' but this was followed up with all subsequent dealings. Would highly recommend.

TrustpilotOnce great - now best avoided.
Sewell and Gardner were previously a great estate agent, and we had great dealings with the team in the Chorleywood office. They now seem to have gone down the usual predatory estate agent route, looking to charge fees whilst not being involved, and skimming any fees where they can. We have had great dealings with them in the past, but would not go near them now. Definitely one to avoid when there are better options available.

Avoid them like a plague. These sort of agencies give all agents a bad name.Absolute cowboys especially the Rickmansworth office which I have been dealing with. As a buyer, you definitely don't want to make "offers" through these lot. I was after a 1.2m+ home and the games they played were amazing. Very dodgy and something fishy was going on. I called their bluff (by making an asking price offer) and I turned out to be right about my suspicions. They will tell you property has had multiple offers at asking prices to extract full or above asking price from you. They will get you to offer an asking price just to get someone else to offer more. They are least interested in selling certain people properties (more interested in going to the pub after 5.30, so will encourage to only show up if you wanted to offer asking price etc. when they really had no offers at asking price) which means something fishy is going on in the background.Having bought and sold homes over 30+ years, I have come across a few cowboy agencies and these are one of them. Definitely not professional agency. You will overpay massively for the house if you get it.

GoogleI’m finally moving today !!!!! After 6 months and 4 different buyers I complete today and move out of my beautiful home into a new one, to start new memories. Emily, Kevin, Ollie and Rosie have become like family. I have had exceptional service from Sewell and Gardner. They have seen me through some traumatic moments and even though I went multi agency to try and get a buyer, they are the only ones who came up trumps time and time again. They made the roller coaster of selling my home bearable. If your selling or buying in the area always use Sewell and Gardner. Professional, friendly service. And exceptional value thank you guys. Today would not have happened without you.

GoogleSewell & Gardner have been excellent throughout the sale of our flat on the Byewaters. I met with a few agents before deciding to go ahead with Sewell, as I felt they were a good match for our property, their brochures looked professional and I very much liked all the staff I met at the Ricky and Croxley offices. Tyler managed the (frustrating!) exchange and kept on top of the solicitors, other agents and buyers and we couldn't have done it without him. He is friendly, down to earth and efficient and I would highly recommend him and these agents to anyone! I'm so glad we chose Sewell....thank you to everyone :-)

GoogleI've just completed a sale through the Croxley office and would like to say that it's been a very smooth and trouble-free process. I've been particularly impressed with the level of professionalism and communication. From the start, the information and advice they gave me was unbiased and always in my best interests. They gave me realistic valuation and timescale information and were knowledgeable about the local area and current market conditions. The regular update discussions were helpful and re-assuring. A very friendly and professional team. (They also make a good cup of tea).
