My partner and I recently moved into a new apartment, our previous experiences with estate agents have been less than desirable. We found Sewell & Gardener to be : prompt, professional, kind and courteous. We would like to say that particularly Rosie on their team was an absolute dream to work with, she was in constant contact with us through each step of the process (even on her days off!), she made us feel like people and not just another pay check, we cannot be more happy with our new place and we feel that Rosie is an asset to the team and she constantly went above and beyond for us. From start to finish the process of selling our house and purchasing our new house was pain free and easy. Sewell and Gardner (Ollie in particular) made the whole event seamless and stress free. Ollie went above and beyond to communicate with everyone in our chain as well as our solicitors to ensure every step was achieved on time. We were updated at every stage and couldn’t be happier with the whole process. If we ever move again we would only use Sewell and Gardener, a very much deserved 5 stars for Ollie and the team at their Watford branch.

I really cannot praise and recommend Chris and his team highly enough. From the moment we met Chris we knew that he was the estate agent for us and we were never disappointed with our decision. From the day we signed up to the day we completed, we received excellent help, support and advice. The property was accurately priced, expertly marketed and as a result we quickly received an offer. Laurence contacted us regularly and actively kept the sale going by communicating with all the parties involved. This was a very emotional probate sale and it could have been very stressful too, but it wasn't because of the lovely relationship we had with the team! We really miss their friendly phone calls!

Good experience dealing with Joe and the team to sell our house on the Byewaters estate. Secured a price above our expectations and within a short timeframe, enabling us to get a good deal on what we bought. Open and honest communication with the team throughout and all at a rate lower than the rest of the competition. Not the usual corporate approach and better for it. Only query was the cost to market our property for which an invoice arrived, this quickly vanished when raised. Also bought our property through the Croxley branch and can't recommend them highly enough. Chris and Tyler did a fantastic job, very personable and professional. One word of advice however to Sewell & Gardner is not to recommend 'When You Move' as conveyancers, very inefficient and process driven, pushing items not within their standard process back on you.

We used Sewell & Gardner in Croxley Green to purchase our new home in April 2017. Over the course of the purchase we mainly dealt with Chris but at times also with Tyler and Lawrence. From start to finish they were professional, friendly and efficient. I feel they even went above and beyond at times when we were having some real issues with the buyer of our own property. Incredibly professional, attentive and resourceful. The whole team there (in particular Chris Wood) helped create a smooth transaction, were open and honest about progress at all times and were excellent in liaising with the solicitors to get things moving (whenever needed!) They returned phone calls and emails promptly and took time to understand both sides' situation so we could co-ordinate our moves as best as possible.
