Best estate agent in Croxley Green and surrounding areas! I recently bought a new property with James Estate Agents and am very grateful that I found them (I would highly recommend to anyone looking to rent or buy in the area) They helped us with a lot queries and the whole process was very smooth, quick and stress free. The team worked extremely hard and went the extra mile including chasing solicitors and making sure our sale and completion went ahead in time for the stamp duty holiday saving. Mary and Catherine had very impressive local knowledge about the area and always had time to answer our questions. Without James we would not have found our dream home. James acted as a lettings management agent on a flat for us and as a selling agent when we sold the property. The help and advice on preparing the property for letting was detailed and supportive. The property was sold within two weeks of going on the market. In both cases - letting and sales - their services was excellent. We were always kept fully informed and liaison between us and our tenants was very professional, as was the liaison with our buyers. I arranged an appointment for James to value a rental property, which I drove 180 miles for. They cancelled the appointment an hour before it was due, citing it not being their type of property or an area they are interested in. Absolutely fair enough, but none of that had changed since the previous week when I made the appointment - which, in my opinion, is when they should have told me that they weren't interested in my business. They didn't even have the grace to phone me to apologise, they just dropped an email saying they wouldn't be coming. Looking at other reviews on here they clearly offer decent service to some customers - which is why I selected them in the first place. Presumably though this service only extends to those customers that they consider 'good enough' for them. I'm sorry I didn't meet your exacting standards James!

I'd get everything in writing from this company, especially if you are travelling to view. I've been "let" a property with no parking after being assured there was. Been a huge waste of my time, now having to seek hotel accommodation due to work commitments. Given misleading information from the start and spoken to rudely by staff. I expect more from an ARLA accredited agent!
