Robinson’s accepted an offer on my parents behalf without the purchaser holding a valid mortage offer! It’s wasted months and cost double solicitor fees which I personally think Robinson’s should pay!!
Hi SueThank you for your comments ref your parents sale. I am sorry you feel that on this occasion the high standards that we set at Robinsons were not met. We have a procedure for checking a purchasers financial situation and having looked at the file it appears this was carried out correctly. Sometimes the lender will then chose not to proceed with the case which is out of our control. It is very annoying but part of the buying and selling setup in the uk.
