If you are thinking about using an online estate agent over a physical estate agent I would absolutely challenge that choice.The value a traditional estate agent offers is absolutely vital in ensuring your property is marketed and sold correctly and also offers a comprehensive sales process right the way through to completion. This Is delivered at the highest standard and I cannot express the value for money I think they deliver. I have recently successfully sold my property at full asking price and I want to make note of two outstanding individuals that provided a first class service. The first person who works on the sales side of the business is Katherine Quinton. Katherine called me every week and updated me on all the stats, marketing activity and suggestions to ensure we got the maximum exposure. I cannot begin to express how much I valued those weekly calls in what was a difficult market when we first put the property up for sale and the particular support care and attention that she delivered was outstanding and I absolutely would recommend her to anyone who is looking to put their house on the market. We then received a full market offer and this was accepted.But the next phase is just as important as the first phase and this process was handled by another outstanding individual Joy M CruddasJoy took over the post offer process and she co-ordinated and communicated with everyone and provided effective and progressive updates. Even on the day of completion Joy remained in contact with the solicitors and call me at 5:35 pm to let me know that the property had successfully completed her dedication to her profession and the brand she represents again is outstanding.So if you’re looking for an estate agent that has standout individuals then I strongly recommend that you speak to both Katherine and Joy

I’d bought my house through Robinsons many years ago. It went well so they were the obvious choice from the outset. I was not disappointed. They quickly visited my property and had it on the market within a couple of days. Had loads of viewings and a realistic offer, from genuine buyers within 3 days, which I accepted. They then managed the buyer / seller interface interacting with solicitors throughout to ensure the sale went through as quickly as possible. I could not have asked for more. Well done a great team effort by Robinsons. Highly recommended.

The sedgefield office is always welcoming and helpful; nothing is ever an issue and they are an amazing team to work with. Robinsons have been lovely from the moment they started managing our property as letting agents right up to the time when we finally sold it. Every call to their office was greeted with the cheeriest of Hellos, and all the admin was dealt with efficiently by email. They have looked after my tenants well and ensured that everything necesary was in place when required.I can't recall a single time when the phone was not answered promptly or emails not given a quick turnaround. Nothing but praise for the whole team.

I have had a fantastic experience in selling my property through the Sedgefield branch. Ryan McKenna went above and beyond in the levels of communication, support and service that he offered. Without his cheerful manner and extremely responsive communication, I would have struggled particularly during lockdowns as I live a distance from the property which is now sold. Other members of staff, Sharon and Jade also provided friendly and helpful communication and advice. I could not praise the service received more highly, and would recommend this branch to anyone. What a pants service they provide, bought a house through this estate agent which was priced at the top end for the area and after I moved in it was one problem after another, leaving me to fork out thousands of pounds to put right all the Billy bodge it works, found out from the neighbors put their own gas supply in and gas and electric were not registered, damp in kitchen and lounge, electrics dangerous no cold water on kitchen sink, no electric to oven hob and extractor fan and washing machine, back door buckled kitchen window knackered, could not open sun room doors because did not have the key, had to get a lock Smith doors severely damaged, previous tenant dealing in drugs, velux window in loft room damaged and won't shut, what I can say is seen a solicitor and put a covenant on the deeds to prevent these nano wipes from selling this house ever again, so if you buy an old House from this estate agent make sure you get a comprehensive survey done first, my advice keep clear and go elsewhere.

Absolutely brilliant estate agent and team at the Bishop Auckland branch. They’ve worked tirelessly on our behalf for eighteen months to sell our property and they did sell it a total of five times! Unfortunately they can’t help the unforeseen circumstances of the buyers being unable to proceed due to the current COVID situation & their changes in circumstances, but their hard work eventually paid off to completion. I would urge you to use Robinsons over any other estate agent in the area as we did try them, they didn’t do half the work and their attitude towards our property wasn’t favourable. Some other estate agents use outdated information and bias which doesn’t help the ever changing property market. Robinsons saw the true value of our property and knew the right buyer was out there, even going as far as never under valuing it or asking us to reduce the price. As a result the property sold for far higher than any other estate agents valuation. Trust Robinsons, because we will be using them again in the future.

I wouldn’t recommend renting your property with this estate agents. I arranged to view a couple of houses and heard nothing back for a while and then eventually I was told there was potentially a slot to view a house so they asked me to propose an appropriate time and they would then confirm with me, they never confirmed the time so I presumed the viewing wouldn’t go ahead! To then get a call the next day asking how the viewing Went. It just doesn’t seem to be ran very efficiently.

When I placed my house on the market in early December 2020, I initially chose Robinsons as agents because I had negotiated a 25% reduction in fees through a promotion. Six months later, having finally arrived at my new address, and after experiencing several lows - (a break in the chain, forking out £420 for a survey which i had to cancel and plead for a refund, an unsubstantiated claim I had pulled out of the purchase which got back to the vendor, the snail's pace of conveyancing and sparse communication from the solicitors, ) - I must say that I would have gladly paid the full whack to them, as the one thoroughly decent aspect of it all was the wholly empathic and sincere representation given on their behalf by the hard-working liaising female employee who was steadfast in her determination to ensure a positive outcome for everyone in the face of all the setbacks, which of course she succeeded in achieving. Keeping me regularly updated, she prevented me from holding a bleak outlook on the whole stressful business, and for that I will long be grateful. If I move again in the future (which I hope is not for a very, very, very, very, very, long time) I will definately (Line of Duty ref, you binge watchers) be using Robinsons. Adios amiga.

I do not know where to begin writing a review for Robinsons Estate Agency Sedgefield Branch. The praise and thanks to the Team and for the service provided is quite extensive!I have worked with Robinsons Sedgefield for many years. Buying my house through them, renting to many different tenants as they moved to the area who then went onto pastures new. And then to this month selling the property as I have relocated. Firstly I must mention Sharon Tweedle - Sharon has worked tirelessly with me for years. An amazing level of service, expert knowledge, ability to keep my tenancy constant, always getting on with all in the chain and finding the right tenant with seamless aptitude. I had total trust in Sharon dealing with my property and giving advice. Sharon really has become a friend. Always there despite how busy the office was - I hear the phones going constantly - and always getting things over the line when we have faced some challenging issues with the property. Thank you so much for the brilliant service and your ability to make all go so well. Huge thank you to the whole Robinsons Sedgefield Team - Ryan and Jade. You also are so professional and so lovely to work with. It really is team work and your expertise and wonderful customer service is second to none. Several months ago I travelled a long way to view a rental property and stayed overnight. When we got to the property the board had 'Let By' on it (indicating it had gone!) So my wife thought we'd been given an appointment by mistake. The viewing went ahead and we said we wanted the property and the agent told us there were no other applicants and that they would speak to the landlord. Got home on Monday. Heard nothing back from them about our application. Waited Tuesday afternoon. Still heard nothing back so I phoned them and got a brief message that we were not successful with no explanation as to why. On paper we were strong applicants. Had it already been let out? Seemed like a complete waste of time and money to me. They get a 1 because poor communication on this matter and we felt let down.

Having dealt with both lettings and sales in Robinsons Ingelby office with Donna and Victoria I have to say great customer service from them they certainly work hard and seem as if they are the only two in the office all the time not sure if short staffed or not ! My comments really are Robinsons staff in all branches are all in black all the time so I am assuming this is what they need to wear please Robinsons get with the times and give them colour,black is dowdy,old fashioned and funeral like it’s not inspiring to a customer. Give them choices? Black Paints an old fashioned outlook which ‘could’ reflect on how customers feel about the brand ! Just an observation!!!!

Pictures of the house were poor. Not even one of the back garden. Went to take a look at the house and unfortunately had trouble finding it combined with school traffic as viewing was at 15:30. We got to the house at 15:37 and the guy drove away. Phoned up and they said "he had another appointment" after only waiting less than 7 minutes? Customer service for those buying just seem really poor. Next day we phoned and apparently it had sold so couldn't view it. Think it had sold anyway and that's why they weren't bothered about waiting for the viewing. Anyway, we tried to put an offer on the house to win the auction for the house but person on the phone was very rude and blunt and didn't seem interested at all.
