Jackson Stops, Cranbrook were the selling agents for a property we recently completed on, and I found them to be extremely helpful, communicative and highly professional in their dealings with us. We mainly dealt with Rupert, and for a few weeks Sam while Rupert was on holiday, both of whom are a credit to the business. They kept us fully informed on progress at every stage, and helped with chasing-up our buyers solicitors, and agents who at times were simply shocking, but Jackson Stops dealt with them firmly and professionally at every stage. Without the help of Rupert and Sam, I don't think we would have ever completed so I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Matthew and his team sold our house in August 2020. They were professional, friendly, efficient and very easy to deal with. Added to that, Matt thought we could achieve more for our property than the other two agents we got valuations from. He was right. We had 8 viewings booked for the first week and it sold within four days. We can’t recommend Jackson Stops in Bury St Edmunds highly enough, they were excellent from start to finish.

Nothing but praise

Nothing but praise for Toby, Guy and the team at Jackson-Stops in Lindfield. Absolute first rate service from initial valuation of our house, managing (a sometimes tumultuous!) sales process, through to a successful completion. Ours was far from a straightforward sale due to a number of odd covenants in out title deed. However, Toby didn't miss a beat in helping us to navigate these complexities. Heartily recommended.

Jackson-Stops Newmarket office handled the sale of my mother's house for us. The property is unusual and they identified the key distinctive features, advised a well-pitched price and produced a beautiful comprehensive brochure generating even more serious interest than we hoped for. We used the Jackson-Stops team in Shaftesbury to market our house recently and we are so glad we did. Their approach from start to finish was excellent in every way.We were particularly impressed by the care they took over the photographs and presentation of the house, and by the fact that the whole team came to see the house before it was listed, to ensure they all understood the property's features and selling points. Sam led the sale/ purchase and kept us and the vendors informed throughout and was very calm when there were any hiccups in the road. We have just sold a fairly difficult listed farmhouse through Jackson Stops at Cranbrook and Rupert, Samantha and the whole team were great. Very professional and cheery and kept us fully informed of feedback from. Viewers etc. From the start when they were showing prospective buyers around to exchange and completion they kept us up to date as to how things were progressing. Rupert was was very proactive in answering our buyers and buyers solicitor’s questions which kept the purchase moving to a satisfactory conclusion. James saved the day - and the home purchase!

We were buyers of a property listed by Jackson Stops. We experienced some uncertainty towards the end of the conveyancing process and were nervous that the entire sale would fall apart. Thankfully, the communication from James and Ria was positive, consistent, and of high quality. If James said he would contact me by the next morning with news, he did. We cannot speak highly enough of Rupert and his team at Jackson Stops & Staff, Cranbrook. We were purchasing through them but also selling via a online company who's name i shall not mention but includes a colour and building material, so we experienced both sides and established high street estate agents win hands down. From the moment our offer to purchase was accepted Rupert took control of the whole situation, from chasing down the chain, to advising on surveyors, solicitors etc he was on the ball. i actually think he should be paid a fee by the un-named company as he also done most of their work as well. I can safely say if had not been for the effort of Rupert and his team then our purchase would have fallen through due to the lacklustre effort from the estate agents in the chain below. Moving house is one of the most stressful things you can do in your life but not with Jackson Stops. We were lucky enough to have JS operating at both ends of our sale - JS Tunbridge Wells selling our house in Wadhurst and JS Cranbrook in purchasing our new house in Sissinghurst. Rupert in JS Cranbrook office could not have done more for us and we had knowledgeable and friendly viewing agents to escort us on 2 visits and then the professional back up we received after we had made our offer was just excellent. You cannot underestimate the value of the service you receive AFTER you have agreed a sale. This is when you need a real professional estate agent who will chase the surveyors, the solicitors and the other estate agents not just in your deal but in all the deals in the chain. They check your buyers financial status to make sure they have the necessary funds in terms of mortgage arrangements or cash and they liaise with your buyers estate agent to keep on top of any possible little hitches in the transaction. JS did all of these things for us and achieved a fanstastic sale and purchase which we are so delighted with. Jackson Stops Cranbrook also sold our previous house for us in just one month after we had struggled to sell with another agent for over a year. We cannot recommend them highly enough and we say THANK YOU Rupert and team for all your efforts on our behalf.

In general, I'm not one to be enthusiastic about estate agents, but Rupert and his team at Jackson Stops have certainly opened my eyes in relation to how good an estate agent can be. Going well above and beyond the standard call of duty, always responsive, always helpful and genuinely there to help their customers rather than just themselves. They are a breath of fresh air. If you're looking for an agent, I can't recommend them enough, I would be very surprised if you can find a better agent locally and probably much father afield than that. The team here set the bar very high.
