GoogleLancasters were extremely helpful when renting a property through them. They were so friendly and made the whole process surprisingly stress free. Even when stuck on an element on the process they spoke to us outside of office hours to make sure we were happy. Will definitely rent through them again.

GoogleUnfortunately very poor indeed. Showed 30 minutes late for viewings twice, didn't have the right information on both occasions. Every time we went in the office seemed like a total lack of organisation. Didn't have the right paperwork on moving day and overall poor communication. So unfortunately wouldn't recommend or use again.
Mr Reeves, I'm sorry you felt that way. It is true that your partners first viewing had to be pushed back by 20mins due to staff illness, she was called. We track our staff digitally for safety and our records show your partner's second viewing was carried out on time. Yes there were delays issuing paperwork, but as you know, this was because initially your partner applied for the tenancy on her own, not with you. On a positive note it was lovely of your partner to pop into our office just after you moved in to thank us, that was really appreciated. [Reposted as original reply was deleted]

Basically we need you to apply so we have all the info we need to put you forward in the best possible light to the landlord, ultimately it is always the landlords final decision on what type of tenants they choose, regardless of our recommendations. There is zero benefit to us to have people apply who we previously knew would be unacceptable. It would waste our time as much as yours. Our daughter recommended Lancasters having used them previously when she moved home a couple of years ago. Rather annoyingly she was correct, again (don’t you hate it when your child gives you decent advice!) and they proved to be a thoroughly professional, friendly and highly efficient team selling our house within days of it going onto the market. Throughout the selling process we were kept informed of what was happening and advised when we needed to do anything. We therefore have no hesitation in recommending Lancasters to anyone wanting a first-class service when they want to move home.
