Just sold my house via Payne in Coventry. Through no fault of theirs, it took over a year (First buyer pulled out; also had issues with the estate management company). Throughout this time, Payne were doing everything they could to expedite matters. If I were ever to sell another house in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. We were very please with the service and advice we got from John Paynes. The valuation visit was slick and smooth and we accepted a buyers offer withing a week of going on the market. The property we bought was also with John Paynes and there was no trouble arranging visits prior to settlement. We were fortunate that there was no chain involved but about 4 months from start to finish seems very good to us. I was recommended Paynes through a friend. I have to say the support from start to completion was outstanding. Our chain experienced a number of different issues but Melanie went above and beyond to hold the chain together in which she succeeded. Liz was always at hand to answer any queries and gave good advice. She was also a great negotiator. John’s knowledge of the property market and local area was second to none so I knew we were in good hands. Communication was great. Staff were very friendly. As a buyer they were great to deal with, regular and friendly communication, honest and transparent. From viewing to completion I've not had any issues with the service, it's been delightful. From Lee arranging the viewings and promptly finding out further info for me and then to Melanie who's kept on top of everything and gone above and beyond from putting in the offer to completion. It's been bumpy with the conveyancers but with Melanie at the wheel everything's just felt smoother 'thank God for Mel!' Absolutely would recommend.

Cannot fault the dedication and professionalism of the staff. Worked tirelessly through very difficult circumstances to try and get my property sold. Unfortunately due to my management company letting the fire safety certificate lapse, it wasn’t to be. Hopefully 2025 will see the certificate renewed and the sale can proceed to a final conclusion. Will definitely be using them again, Mel worked so hard for us and was devastated by the outcome.
