After my mother had rented a flat for 7 years and moved into a care home, we were charged a £160 to 'Clean dust from the skirting boards' and 'Wipe the shower door', its extortion, avoid this place like the plague. The DPS service is a joke, no chance to respond to a claim as we cant get access to the property to gather our own evidence. Making a complaint to the Housing Ombudsman Service, another example of everything that is wrong with the UK rental sector.

Such poor service. The photo side of things is tolerable but the floorplans are appalling, constantly incorrect and then theres no support to get them amended. The last 5 I have submitted have been incorrect, named wrong, logos missing etc. The edit facility only offers limited access. You then cant get hold of anyone to amend, my last property took nearly a week to have the word " outbuilding " removed. Pay for metropix and stay in control! Please don't insult me by posting some BS reply. Pick up the phone like a real CS team and apologise.

OH WHERE TO START….- They steal items- They ransack rooms that don’t belong to them- THEY BEAT UP 71 year old men who ask them to kindly leave- NOT 1 but 3 men beat him in his home.- They do this so that they can leave the house unfinished with majority pay. They then lie about the cause for why it takes 3 men to beat a slow moving 71 year old with arthritis. The police are involved. But anyone out there PLEASE DO NOT trust these thugs with your finance, property or around any valuables. They are predators and i seriously hope they get retribution. We first used My Property Box a number of years ago to rent out our house, initially we could not fault the levels of customer service we received. First tenant we had was ideal everything was great. However over the last 2 years this had not been the case with the next 2 tenants, both ended up owing large amounts of rent AND our property needing large sums of monies reinvesting in it to bring it back to a liveable standard. Inspections were missed hence monies needed to reinvesting, work paid for then not done or done to an appalling standard. No one checked in on the "approved" maintenance contractors to see if said work had been done/was of a high standard. Phone calls and emails ignored towards the end and My Property Box still took their cut out of the tenants bond. Bond also not the agreed amount we had set far lower. I would not recommend them to anyone.
