FacebookIf I could give it a 0 star I would ! An absolute nightmare of an agency to deal with from a tenant perspective. Right from the beginning when I rented - issues , lack of contract in place literally until 2 days before moving in I didn’t know if I actually secured the place. Head of lettings didn’t even bother to let me know what is going on, it was me constantly chasing and trying to find out what is going. The real saga started however upon vacating property. Various agents arranging viewings of the property without prior arranging with me, random viewings at 8 pm without agreeing upon. To the point when the guy who was meant to do the check out never turned up and nobody bothered to inform me. The attitude of staff there is another story , it’s almost like they’re doing you a favour ! I was told to come to their offices to drop off the keys or send it via recorded delivery (on my expense!) after being stood up by their staff. Now I’m sure getting a deposit back will turn out to be another mayhem ! Please avoid them at all cost ! Not worth the stress ...

FacebookTerrible. Do not let through them. They failed to pay the tenants deposit on time (meant to pay to me to register, did not bother, chased them for a week, finally they did themselves but late) 2nd rent is now a week late and have no idea if it has even been paid by tenant as I haven't heard from them, not very good service for rent collection I expect them to be checking on the day and letting me know if any problems. Obviously it takes a day or 2 to go from one account to another ie streets ahead to me but its been a week. Absolute shame of an agent, wish I had never used them.

GoogleHad my property to let for over 2 months (Normally my flat never stays vacant for more than 2 weeks). Haven't found anyone yet and they keep pressuring you to reduce the asking price. Asked the guy i was dealing to call me back as he was in a meeting that day. Must of been a long meeting because 3 weeks later im still waiting. Much better agents out there, in fact now a days you can advertise for free on open rent which will be better than these guys.

FacebookUtterly appalling service ever since they took over the management of our house , no rental agreement sent , no notice given about increase in rent , takes weeks to get anyone to come out if something wrong , do not respond to emails and when you eventually get to speak to a human being they have no idea what is going on and say they will respond in writing or email and they don’t . Wish I could get hold of my landlord and tell him not to waste his money on them managing the property because quite frankly they couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery . Don’t go near them !!

Facebookcame home from work to no heating in February when it had been snowing. The water pressure was low on the meter so there was no heating or hot water. I called up the water suppliers who stated it was the agency's duty of care to handle. I spoke to the agency and they gave me the number for the plumber. I called for 2 hours, leaving voicemails, no response and no call back. The agency kept messaging the urgency, but to no avail. I was told to wrap up in blankets and wait. I have not received any phone call from the plumber, and I cant feel my feet and I have cold. Absolutely terrible. I am still waiting for a call back.

GoogleStreets Ahead have been great to deal with. A beautiful house appeared on the market and the very next morning Streets Ahead squeezed me in on an open morning. Fell in love with the house and placed an offer. Catherine and Gemma took over and were excellent at keeping us in the loop through the offer process. Our offer was accepted and we are now only a few weeks away from moving in! We can't wait. Thank you to everyone at Streets Ahead for making this purchase so straight forward.
