We cannot speak too highly of the help, support and encouragement we received from James Carroll and his wife Ria at Jackson-Stops, Barnstaple. They fully understood the significance to us of the move we were making, and never made light of it. Keeping us up to date with updates from the seller or the solicitor. Even when we were waiting for long periods of time for information, they would keep us informed that they are doing all they can to keep the process moving.Once we completed and we went to pick up the keys, we were greeted with friendly and chatty employees who were really happy for us. They even gave us a bottle of champagne which was a really thoughtful touch. I’ve lived in Newmarket for 4 years and the Jackson Stops Staff has been nothing short of amazing! Being Active Military you hear of the horror stories with letting agents and I have had zero issues. I deployed 3 times while here and each time Paula & Jodie stopped by my apartment, checked on it, adjusted the thermostat if needed & they checked on me as well. They really treat you like family. Even during my move out inspection I hired a bad cleaning company and they reported the company to base housing to help other service members not use them as well. They truly care & go above and beyond if I could have stayed 4 more years I would have stayed in my apartment! I’ll miss Peel House & The Jackson’s Stops Team in Newmarket. If your Active Duty & you want a smooth transition in and out I highly recommend this company! I’ve lived overseas for 10 years & i’ve never had a better experience than HERE!
