FacebookA very professional and helpful estate agent, I would have no hesitation in recommending BOP. From my initial contact with Bideford Branch Manager Alex to the care, attention and support I received from Philippa in the Sales Progression Department I was very impressed by their service, particularly as my house sale proved to be a complicated and lengthy process. This was through no fault of BOP who did all they could to facilitate the sale. Thank you very much.

The Okehampton branch sent me a personalised mailing about placing my property with them for sale. I pointed out by email that there was glaring error in their leaflet when they used the work FORM instead of FROM in a leading sentence. I received a flippant reply from the manager saying they had noticed the error after the document was sent to print - but "they were only human" - not much of an apology. So guess which agent I won't go with when I sell later in the year?

FacebookHelen and Ollie at the Torrington office was amazing and extremely helpful! A first time buyer moving in the mids off the ending stamp duty holiday sounded like a stressful nightmare... but in fact it was easy! Helen alerted me and my partner to a perfect property that ticked all my boxes and since then the process ran so smooth without a hitch! Every time I had a question they would answer it as soon as possible.. I couldn't fault a single thing about the service! Thank you so much

FacebookWe found the team at the Wadebridge office really helpful and friendly especially as it’s has been a long time since we bought a property. Mandy who supports you through the actual process once offers are accepted, was absolutely fantastic. She kept in constant contact especially as our solicitors were slow and inefficient and she pushed on our behalf to get things through. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend BOP, but be wary of using Premier Property Lawyers who they recommend as our experience with them was really bad.

Appalling. We now have to find a property at short notice because they lied to us. They take no responsibility whatsoever and make stuff up constantly!! Have been in communication with them for WEEKS trying to secure a property. Then they told us we had secured a property and then backtracked!! They fobbed us off for weeks and wasted our time. Unsure if they’re just incompetent or deliberately messing us about. I made a complaint and they’ve refused to call me back to discuss it. Utterly unprofessional, dishonest throughout and have absolutely no consideration for the fact that they are messing with people’s lives.

Terrible experience with the Barnstaple office. We were told by one of the staff member that we qualified for a section 106 on the cottage early in April this year. 7 months later all packed ready to move. did not even apologise for it. Very unprofessional and uncaring. Very Badley done Barnstaple office.

Avoid at all costs. Unprofessional, Liars, Useless, Time wasters. Have tried to buy a house from Bond Oxborough Phillips since February, but have had nothing but lies, failed promises and misleading information (Property advertised as immediately available, finished flooring etc - none of which has happened or has been done). It has been disastrous from start to finish on the side of Bond Oxborough Phillps and the staff involved should be ashamed that they couldnt sell a house to first time buyers who were ready to go. I have had to constantly chase for forward progress, to no avail.The business is a shambles. I am very glad that I will never EVER have to deal with Bond Oxborough Phillips again.

We were looking to rent a 4 bedroom+ property in the Barnstaple area while we were selling our home and looking for our next. A 4 bedroom listing came up in Sticklepath Barnstaple with agents Bond Oxborough Phillips. I enquired if it was OK for us to keep our outdoor dog there, and for me to work from home there. I explained, we were looking for somewhere to buy. The reply was we had an appointment to view. "Yes, but is having our dog and working from home OK?" No answer. RSVP. Again. 4 emails and no reply, so we did not attend the viewing and complained to a partner. Guess what? He did not reply (though we know he got our email).We ended up buying a 6 bed property with sea views via another agent. Duh Bond Oxborough Phillips! I was careful not to view anything listed for sale with them though, to be honest, they did not have anything suitable anyway.I suggest that you send your management and staff to Phillips, Smith & Dunn for training! Good luck with your bad attitudes.

The whole team from original valuation by Mark, viewings by Robin and Elliot and sales support (and much more) by Emma, provided service that has been excellent. They have remained calm and professional and ultimately helped me to reach exchange of contracts - taking much of stress off my shoulders! I would have given 10 stars if they were available!

I just rented a property through BOP Barnstaple. I have dealt with many lettings agencies over the last few years and have to say that these people were absolutely first class...all the time! Jenette and Amy gave me great customer service and were very professional and polite. Personally speaking, I could not fault the service and will definitely deal with them in future above all else. Highly recommended.
