Very disappointed with these people after four phone calls trying to get hold of the agent who was dealing with a property we were interested in- we just gave up really poor service - communications a big thing

We brought a house that was up for sale with Oscar James and they did everything they could to help us. Calling to give us updates was Katie who was so helpful and always available if we needed help. Tenise shown us round and again always made herself available if we needed to contact her and was very good at listening to what we actually wanted so we didn’t waste anytime looking at houses that wasn’t for us. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Every member of staff I spoke to when selling my house were so friendly and went beyond the call of duty to be as helpful as they possibly could. Most weeks I got a phone call to update me of the state of play with the sale. I would recommend Oscar James Estate Agents 100%. This is the first time I was in the position of selling a house so I was not familiar with house selling procedures but I was advised and kept in the picture from start to finish.

We didn't actually buy or sell through Oscar James but we did view several houses with them and they were by far my favourite estate agent to view with. We met Kane a lot in Burton and he was just so friendly, professional and understanding. They were going to be my next point of call to try and sell our house but didn't need to in the end. Would absolutely recommend because from a buyer's point of view I always looked forward to meeting them and always happy to take their calls, rather than dreading it like some of the others �

After visiting a high street bank and being offered an agreement in principle, we found a house with the help of Oscar James, and James Potts in particular. He then put us in touch with Dan Cowing who guaranteed to beat the offer we had got from the bank. Not only did he do this by a significant margine but he also talked us through it, every step of the way. He explained everything thoroughly and clearly as we are first time buyers. I would highly recommend the services of Oscar James and Dan in particular, and would suggest any first time buyers seek his advice before listening to a bank.

Disappointing

We recently sold our bungalow through Oscar James, Corby and although they were initially very proactive, once the bungalow was sold, we barely heard from them. Our buyer’s estate agent were exactly the opposite and kept us updated through their sales progression manager. She was knowledgeable and approachable. I would not recommend Oscar James.
