Excellent service, professional and approachable.

I have used BJB as a landlord for my rental property for almost 3 years now and have found them to be very professional, diligent and approachable. They are by far one of the best agents out there and will always ensure they look after their clients! I would particularly like to thank Elisha Hennessey at the Wolverhampton branch who has made the process of letting seem simple and straightforward. Selling and moving out of your first home is an emotional and delicate process, and Jackie & the Team handled it seamlessly with care and always kept us 'in the know'. Thankyou for making my house move simple!

I rented a property through the winsford branch and they were fantastic! I viewed 3 different properties, they were extremely helpful in finding the right house for me and great with arrange viewings at suitable times. Everything went very smoothly, the referencing was straight forward and they were very helpful whenever I had questions. Initially, there were some problems with some small repairs needed on my property which did not get dealt with despite many requests.At this point Liz took over the dealings with my property and everything was cleared up and completed effectively and efficiently under Liz's superb organisational skills. After being messed about by DBRoberts who made me wait a week to go and view the property and then cancelled my viewing as I was in my way to the property.I went to Butters John Bee who were so helpful and friendly. I spoke to Hayley who got me a viewing the next day. In the space of a week and a half i’d Viewed it, fell in love and was moved in. As this is the first time moving out they couldn’t have been more helpful, Sean dealt with all the checks and the back and forth phone calls and he explained everything to me step by step and encouraged me to call if I had any questions. Both Hayley and Sean were amazing and I’m so glad I went with Butters John Bee. Thank you guys, would 100% recommend using them over anyone!

Absolutely first class from start to…

Absolutely first class from start to finish. Lee Dono was so professional and sympathetic, offering advice which led us to achieve more than we expected with the sale price. Not only that, he listened to our needs, circumstances and expectations before committing himself to a figure. His choice of wording in the publicity was also instrumental in the outcome. The terms and conditions and fees were made clear, as was the need for and EPC. We left the meeting on Wednesday, full of confidence, the property was sold stc the following Tuesday. Solicitors are now in contact with each other and the whole process could not have been more simple or straightforward. Probably impossible to better any aspect of the service offered. Don't care about customers, I've had to live in a mould infested apartment with various other issues that still remain unfixed. They will side with the landlord and couldn't care less about the tenants health, comfort or well being. Disgraceful. Also had threats of violence from landlord which I reported to the police, but Butters weren't interested. Must be a common occurrrence for them. Maybe they'll take notice when the press gets hold of it. Also, the 5 star review below from a Charlie Meredith is im pretty sure is an employee or ex employee, so bit disingenuous giving yourselves 5 star reviews isn't it?

3 stars - OK experience

Given 3 stars as this is rated "average". The experience with the Crewe office was OK, to be clear this is NOT a bad review at all. Whilst Emma and Steve were friendly, this was my first moving experience into my own rented property and just wasn't sure what to expect. They use a portal to pop stuff into like proof of ID etc, this had a timer to complete things, which I did but then the portal would run out of time which caused me to panic, and wa reset (and then again ran out of time) a total of three times - apparently this just happens. If thats the case maybe it is time to think about removing the timer as it just made me think maybe something was amiss. My personal experience with Emma Sandland had been good. I had to chase a few things, like the inventory as this wasn't sent. I think it was a bit of bad timing too, as Emma was on leave but I wasn't aware so when I had questions I was just asked to wait for answers until she returned. Due to the quick turnaround of rented property I was just pleased that my personal deadline meant I wasn't in too much of a rush to get stuff sorted but I was still eager to get everything signed off, I imagine this could have led to frustrations had my circumstances been slightly different. After the move I had a few queries which I had emailed to Emma, a day later I received a call from the maintenance team to say that my query had been passed on to them. Now awaiting answers so unsure how long this stuff takes. All in all, an OK experience.

Was looking to rent in the Wolverhampton area and accidentally stumbled upon one of butters john bee's properties. I spoke to Elisha on the phone about it, and she's agreed to show be the property on the same they, as I'd come up from London to view a few properties with other estate agents. She's was really nice and assist us throughout the process. Everything was done electronically, which meant I didn't have to come back until we came to pick up the keys, which was time and money saving.

I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but after quite an arduous and frustrating few months dealing with various letting agencies and estate agents and frankly losing the will to live, I simply have to put it to the World-Wide domain that Michael Ferris has been a God send! All communication to me has been prompt, informative and rid of all jargon, and he has listened to my needs and not try to push his own agenda or make me feel silly. He has also been extremely friendly and down-to-earth, and just generally easy to deal with without ever making me like a nuisance - like I have been made to feel elsewhere. Recently rented a property through Butters John Bee from the Stafford Branch. Me and my partner just happened to pop in and speak to Jason and Hayley who instantly made us both feel very comfortable, we were both offered a drink before sitting down and talking about what we were looking for. Jason quickly found a property, that had JUST come back on the ladder. We arranged a viewing there and then with Hayley and by 3pm the property was taken off the market and it was to be our new home.Hayley was amazing with both of us, she knew exactly what she needed to, helped us with everything and was very thorough. The whole service with Butters John Bee has been fantastic throughout our little journey and we cant thank you all enough. Terrible in every way

If it were possible to rate this company lower than one star, I absolutely would. The level of service I received was extremely disappointing. The manager made a number of bold promises about what their business would achieve for me, yet none of these claims materialised. Communicating with them is incredibly frustrating, you’re routed through what appears to be a call centre that has no knowledge of your situation and no interest in connecting you with the local branch.

Went to see Debbie Lomas at Butters…

Went to see Debbie Lomas at Butters John Bee for the sale of my property. Debbie was very helpful in everyway from start to finish. The photographs were excellent, communication was great with up dates and viewings that were interested in the property. Debbie and Emma kept us up to date with things and updates the lady who valued and took the photographs did an excellent job and Lee who works for just mortgage's very kindly helped me to purchase my mortgage. I would definitely recommend Debbie and the team to anyone who is thinking of selling there property, and to buy there next home, Lee at Just mortgage's Newcastle under Lyme. I have given the service a 5 star rating but to me it has to be more stars 100% Many thanks again and will definitely use Debbie Lomas and the team at Butters John Bee Newcastle under Lyme when thinking of selling again. This company is a joke

This company is a joke! I don't know how it keeps going. Once my 12 month rental contract for an apartment was coming to its end BJB emailed me asking if I wanted to stay on, and I agreed, even though the rent increased slightly. I told them I needed a letter off them addressed to both myself and my wife showing the new rent. Still no letter despite at least 8 emails, plus a couple of phone calls requesting a letter. I managed to contact the landlady and even she couldn't get any sensible response from them. And don't get me started on the lack of repairs. BJB are incredibly incompetent, don't trust them.
