FacebookMartin and co are a very good estate agent. They are particularly good at giving an accurate valuation and then negotiating this with buyers. Gary is an excellent straight talking businessman which is rare. Unlike many estate agents they do not make unmeetable promises. They deliver and I and my partner successfully sold both our properties at the right price. Beware other, more slick estate agents, especially if they try to attract you with ridiculous valuations.

GoogleThe team at Martin & Co are exceptional on so many levels. The entire process from first contact to arrange a viewing to the signing of the tenancy agreement was smooth and easy. Not only was it handled professionally and personably, but also with great empathy and understanding. Bryn answered my numerous questions with the patience of a saint, and with exemplary professional expertise. Above all else, I could feel that they cared about finding the best options and solutions for my needs. Update: I'm in my third year with Martin & Co (second property), and the team as a whole always act promptly to my queries and concerns. Recently, I emailed to inform them of a dripping tap. Within hours Tonya Elson had arranged for a plumber to come to mine the next day. She communicated throughout the process to keep me informed and to make sure that everything ran smoothly. I truly appreciated Tonya's dedication to superb service.

GoogleAn excellent service from Alex, Bryn and the team when we had to move to new rented accommodation recently. We were working to a very tight timescale, but they moved quickly through the necessary processes, kept us fully informed at each stage and responded to any queries or requests constructively and promptly. Special thanks to Karen Attewill for always being happy to help regardless of the issue! And Dani Hibbard too, who always helps or reports anything we need when inspecting the property, and got the communal hallway light fixed as soon as possible which was something we really needed! Would definitely Recommend this estate agency!

We were moving to UK from overseas, and Bryn helped us understand the necessary right to rent checks and supported these quickly and without any concerns , when a lot of other agents made the process seem daunting or difficult. They have been communicative and responsive since we've been in our accommodation. Would definitely be my first option if ever looking again

GoogleMartin and Co was my managing my property for several years. Gary, Alex and other staffs have done a wonderful job over the years. They attended to the tenant's problems promptly and liaised with me on time. They check on the property and send reports regularly. If anything was faulty, they attended immediately. They also helped to sell the property eventually and the whole journey was stress free. Many thanks to the entire team.

GoogleWe have used Martin & Co in Colchester to fully manage our apartment for 15 years. Gary Everett and the team have always been excellent and very professional all of this time. Gary has been like a friend to us and always took care of us and our tenants when ever any issues arose with our property such as breakdowns or decorating requirements. We have had a few different tenants over the years and never once did we ever worry about the new tenants as Gary and the team have always made sure we would have good people. We recently sold our apartment which Alex Child from the office arranged and managed the sale sourcing our solicitor and managing the sale for us. We have had s great relationship with Martin & Co and will miss the whole team. Thank you Gary and the team

He was always available to answer questions we had and provided us with regular updates on the status of our application. Bryn's professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding. Additionally, Bryn went above and beyond in assisting us to find the flat we liked. He listened to our requirements and preferences, and provided us with a range of suitable options to choose from. He even accompanied us on several viewings to ensure that we were happy with the property before we signed the lease.

GoogleVery poor. Viewed a property we were interested to rent, told to email the agent outlining our interest, heard nothing, even called to see what was going on. I finally spoke to someone and they didn’t receive the email as they didn’t check their junk email, was told someone else got it due to ‘deeper pockets’ although we had two pockets and I believe made up a story about the landlord wanting to keep with the first offer as it would be less wear and tear than two people. Subsequently they pulled out and we had found something. Didn’t even recommend us to go view other properties that might be of interest. Internet has killed any skill in this profession.
