My experience with Jackson & Co was second to none. From viewing the house right through to completion day they were honest, helpful, available and reliable. They were extremely helpful in moving things along for me and able to answer all of my queries along the way with ease. Getting through on the phone was easy every time and responses to my emails were always prompt and concise. I can't help but feel they went the extra mile on every occasion and were so friendly with it too! I am very thankful to them.

I first reached out to Jackson & Co at the end of march 2021 after searching online for a property to purchase as a first-time buyer. Once I found the property, I contacted them for viewing straight after. Later on, I had the pleasure of dealing with Debbie the Sales Progressor, she was excellent throughout the whole process. She was fully supportive during the purchase of my new property. I cannot thank her enough for all her assistance, legal expertise, patience and dedication, it went above and beyond my expectations throughout the course of my purchasing process. Very grateful for their excellent service. definitely highly recommended.

We recently sold and purchased another property through Jackson & Co of Colchester, we have to say they were very helpful and assisted in any way they could through both the process of selling (having been let down by other agents). They also helped us find a good solicitor and removal company. We also purchased another property through Jacksons and they were always available to help throughout the whole process. Would recommend them to anyone that is looking to sell or buy.

I went with Jackson & Co after having limited success with another agent. I was impressed by their efficiency and communication throughout the process - they kept me in the loop the entire time, and I never had to chase them (in fact, they often had to chase me). Within a few days I was receiving and got an offer quickly. They're very knowledgeable and I really valued their advice and expertise. All the staff I dealt with were very friendly and helped make what could have been a very stressful experience much better. Thanks a lot!

Very unprofessional agents and service. It took almost a month to move into an apartment that was promised to be ready long time ago. If something is broken , They say that it doesn't fall under top priority, so basically prepare to wait for a long time to get stuff fixed. Overall poor customer service.

It is certainly our aim at Jackson and Co to move you in as swiftly as possible and as I am not furnished with your address, unfortunately I do not know the circumstances for this delay. I can only assure you that there must have been certain circumstances which lead to this decision. I would also like to apologise for your wait in having something repaired. Certainly, during the month of October, our maintenance team were required to prioritise repairs such as water leaks, security and gas issues. There was an unprecedented amount of repairs during this month and I apologise if the wait was inconvenient. I do hope that this was explained politely and professionally to you as we have not received complaints regarding repairs and I am again sorry that you feel you have not received an adequate service. Please do feel free to contact me directly at the office and I would be happy to meet with you and discuss your concerns in more detail. I look forward to hearing from you.

DO NOT USE THIS LETTING AGENT!!!!!! Jackson and Co were okay at the start when I enquired about a property. I travelled 2 hours to view the property to get to Colchester and be told that they had just let it to someone else. They conveniently had another property to show us which was a higher price and pressured us to pay the fees in order to not let this one. Once they received our money they completed changed. They did not return phone calls when promised, ignored texts and emails, and never passed messages onto the desired person. A vast majority of the time, the person who answered the call was the person I wanted to speak but they were pretending to be someone else and that the desired individual was out of the building or engaged otherwise. We were left weeks at a time without having heard anything from them and no one returning our phone calls. We were due to move the first weekend of January but had not heard anything from them since the middle of December. We had to drive to Colchester 3 times in order to get something sorted, which was still unsuitable and the property we deemed to be dangerous. Thankfully we got our money back and will never use this property agent ever again! We advise that you do the same.

I've been dealing with this company for quite a while. They've been nothing but inane and horrible to work with. They took much longer than required to hand over my apartment, and charged me insane amounts for cleaning. If you have a choice, do not deal with this company. I can guarantee that you will not be happy.
