FacebookI was hoping to buy a lovely house in Mistley, Manningtree Essex. I put an offer in, which was accepted. I Received a letter of acceptance from Alex at Wivenhoe. All great! I get a phone call from Alex today to explain somebody else had bought the house for the same price! Reason...they didn’t have a chain & I did. The lady who is selling the house has not found another property yet!Nobody had explained to me that this could happen!!! Please be aware! Fuming is not the word! � �

FacebookElms Price were involved in a very complex chain I had the misfortune to be part of. The other agents involved were hopeless but Darryl and Andrew were excellent and so helpful and professional. Although I was not actually their client they communicated brilliantly with me and we got the nightmare chain over the line. Would highly recommend them.

Our property was sold as a part exchange and Elms Price were head and shoulders above the other agents instructed. Communication was fantastic and the way the sale was dealt from start to finish couldn't have been any better, acheiving the asking price in a difficult market was icing on the cake. GoogleVery smooth process with Elms Price. I decided to go with Elms Price because it was a smaller firm with a more personal feel. I felt everyone I dealt with was helpful, knew my house and the housing industry. For an anxious seller, it was reassuring to know Andrew was always on hand to answer questions honestly and quickly. I introduced myself to Andrew early morning and told him what we were looking for and stressed that we had limited time. FacebookWe rented a property through elms price for only a year and were told on leaving the property they would be fair with returning the damage deposit, we received a phone call yesterday to say they would be keeping all the deposit and we actually owed them more money! On the break down of expenses we were even charged £25 for a couple of light bulbs that were not working, would not recommend these to anybody they are completely petty and do not care about the tenant do not expect to receive any damage deposit back if you rent through this agency
