GoogleWe put a house up for sale with EP based on reputation, we got an excellent rate and very professional sale brochure, they helped us market and sell the house in a very difficult housing market, Andrew and his team were awesome and helpful to get the price we wanted. Highly recommended. 5 star service and you feel like a valued customer.

GoogleMy. sister and I sold our grandmothers house with Elms just before Christmas, they were considerate and prompt with the sale, Andrew went above and beyond especially when we hounded him for updates out of office hours, always replying! Thanks also to Darryl and Martin who were also on hand and the team got this through in a quick turnaround!!

GoogleWe have just sold a property through Elms Price and I can honestly say that we were very happy with our experience. Andrew & Darryl were very helpful and professional throughout the whole process. From the very first point of contact, right through to completion, nothing was too much trouble. Communications were good, the phone was always answered, emails responded to with questions and queries resolved and followed up promptly. They found us a buyer for our property very quickly and provided us with the name of reliable solicitor. Thank you to the whole team at the Colchester branch, we will definitely consider you for any future property sales!

GoogleBuying or selling a house is a universally bad experience, because no solicitor ever actually cares as much about the transaction as you do. So you wait. With no news. No confirmations of anything. Barely any communication. Your estate agent cares a little more than that, because they've got a commission on the line. They're the middle man. They make sure that workshy solicitors get the smallest amount of wriggle on. Darryl did his best to keep me sane while insanity reigned, so I'd use EP&C again. Friendly, courteous and professional throughout, listening and reflecting your tone and pretty solid at providing updates.

It makes a real difference to have helpful estate agents who are professional, honest, quick to reply, and go the extra distance to answer queries. GoogleBoth the lettings and sales departments work to a very high ethical standard in my experience. They do far beyond their duty. They are always fair to both landlords and tenants. They have assisted me with letting my properties and also selling some when required for years now. The last property was particularly difficult to both manage and then to sell but they worked tirelessly to make it happen. All the staff are really easy to get on with and always do their best for you. I highly recommend their Services.

GoogleI bought a house through Elms & Co recently and have to say that Darryl in the Colchester office was superb. From accommodating a time change at first viewing, to supporting through offers and negotiations, then throughout the process including supporting me to find quotes for necessary updates to the house. It's not often you find an estate agent that really has the buyer's back too, but Darryl was a real champion for me. Friendly, super quick to respond, and a pleasure to work with - thank you so much.

GoogleEstate Agency as a profession isn’t given a lot of respect. Estate agents are for the most part deemed to be untrustworthy and only out for themselves. My opinion of them wasn’t quite as black and white as I had served many as customers in my eatery in town and provided corporate catering for the bigger firms .Honestly some were nice, some not so and the corporate whilst being a bit of a pain wasn’t our most difficult customer. Rightly or wrongly I narrowed my choice down to two people rather than firms. They were both guys that I enjoyed talking to as customers and who had even given some free advice to me in the past. I called both firms, one of them was too busy and didn’t call back and the other was in the office and after a gentle nudge remembered who I was from years ago. I did still meet with three estate agents, just to check on valuations etc. We hadn’t moved for 20 years so we were a bit naive to the process really. I would go as far as to say I enjoyed my time with Andrew during his appraisal. He has a gift for being professional when he needs to be and conversational and charismatic when it’s appropriate. Add in his straightforward advice, valuation, confidence in selling the property and more than reasonable terms I recommended to my wife we go with Elms Price and she agreed. Our move has been stressful but it would have been unbearable without Andrew and Darryl on the other end of the phone. They chased everyone that needed chasing, never got frustrated and at times managed to raise our spirits when they were at our ebb. This does bring me to the broader picture, had our buyer and the bottom of the chain used a local independent Estate Agent like Elms Price and a local solicitor (Birkett Long)as recommended by Elms Price then I reckon a month or two would easily have taken off of our move time. People might think they are saving money with big chain package but it’s really not worth it in my opinion. We are currently having more issues with the house we are buying again through a big chained Estate Agents. Who were pushy when we needed a little patience and now take days to respond when their client is at fault. This has been a rather long winded way of saying use Elms Price if you’re selling your home Andrew and Darryl are great guys who are also terrific Estate Agents. All the best for future guys, and thank you again.

GoogleAndy, Darryl and the rest of the team were brilliant. We sold our house through them, and Andy was very approachable, knowledgeable and friendly. I appreciated that as the last few estate agents I've dealt with have been like a bit "car salesman" esq. They kept me and our buyer up to date continuously, and no question was too big or small. Really grateful for their support through the process and would definately use them again.
