A really pleasant experience from start to finish with great communication from a team that understand what it takes to sell a house. The photos, description and overall understanding of the property were first class and I honestly have nothing negative to say, all in all you will not find a better agent in Cockermouth.

We have a number of flats rented through Lillingtons and have found their service to be excellent. Good tenants have been found quite quickly and all the details of letting have been efficiently dealt with. If you are looking for an agent to let property for you we would definitely recommend them.

Liz has looked after our rental property for many years. She is very thorough in vetting potential tennants. When the tennants move in, liz keeps a constant eye on the property with regular checks and promptly informs us of any problems. We are always given the opportunity to solve any problems ourselves or she is happy to call in local experts ie plumbers, electricains etc. we have recently sold our letting house so no longer need Liz's expert services, but thank her very much for all she has done and would not hesitate in reccomending Liz at Lillingtons, Cockermouth for all your letting needs

We have just bought through Lillingtons, and our purchase became extremely complex and longwinded due to some issues with leases, but due to the tenacity and determination of Gina at Lillingtons we finally got the keys on Thursday. Gina (and the rest of the ladies in the office) really earned their commission on this one - at the point that we were going to walk away they fought hard to get everything back on track and went above and beyond to get us to completion.

The standard of service from the Lettings Team is exceptional, as a "Landlord"... as many will appreciate, void periods are best avoided! Lillingtons and especially "Liz" delivers a very friendly yet professional approach and attitude and has a great understanding of the whole process............and doesn't just offer "lip service " as many Letting Agents are often (at times, mistakenly), accused of..... I selected Lillingtons, Cockermouth branch to sell my deceased mother's bungalow after I wasn't totally happy with the two other local agents I had used to obtain a valuation. I found them to be very professional and helpful. In addition, I also "cold called" in another of their branch offices to see how I would be greeted .before deciding to use them. I was very impressed and this helped me to make my decision to use Lillingtons. It was most important to make the right choice as I live a very long way from the property I was selling. I was more than satisfied with all my dealings with their staff and was highly delighted when the bungalow sold to the very first viewer.. I know this was very lucky, but I had chosen Lillingtons as finding a buyer could have taken much longer and I had confidence in them.

Following zero interest in our property for 6 moths on sale with another agent, we were pleasantly surprised at the effect of moving to Lillingtons. Within the first week we had 4 viewings, largely thanks to the improved presentation and photography and the 'First Look' on Facebook which gathered interest. We had a proceedable offer within 2 weeks and had completed with 8 weeks. I'd highly recommend Lillingtons, no messing around, just got the job done!

Liz, residential letting, have managed my property, Moss Cottage extremely efficiently. She was always able to suggest companies who could carry out any work that was necessary. She is efficient, friendly and very helpful. She looked after the tenants on my behalf very well. I am now selling my property and Sharon have undertaken this with gusto ! And sold STC very quickly and efficiently. I have been very happy with Lillingtons and can recommend them.
