GoogleI made an offer of cash for a house nearly a week ago now. I am being kept in the dark. I have been fobbed off and ignored by grisdales in a degrading manner. They have no regard for the fact that they are playing about with people's lives.

As advised on Saturday 30th July, we’d hoped to provide you with an update today, Monday 1st August. Because of privacy regulations we cannot discuss any further specifics relating to your comments. However, we can confirm that it is standard practise to present all offers plus any supporting information to our vendors for their consideration. This allows our vendors to make an informed decision and proceed in a way that best supports their future property plans. Once we have received instructions from our sellers, we will then proceed as per their wishes. Whilst we’re disappointed to hear that you feel we haven’t provided you with an update before the initial deadline set for today and following communications mid-week, we’d be more than happy to discuss your issue in more depth with you via telephone or email. GoogleHad a great experience with these people for 5 years between 2011 and 2016. In early 2021, needing somewhere new to live I came back with them. Unfortunately the property I am in has major service issues which the landlord is denying and Grisdales are just agreeing with him. They have broken my contract but it seems to me they don't understand their statutory duty where major repairs are concerned. I have taken legal advice from citizens advice and it looks as though I am going to the ombudsman Victoria
