I can’t praise Reeds Rains enough, from initial valuation through to sale of my property & purchase of new one the whole process was handled expertly with excellent communication throughout, all completed within 12 weeks. All the staff I dealt with with courteous & helpful but Tina was especially amazing, I also used a law firm through them which meant I didn’t have to chase them, Tina did that & relayed updates to me regularly. All in all what can be very stressful was made so simple. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone selling or buying a property.

Northwich Branch - Absolutely WorthlessIf you are a renter, please stay away from properties that use this branch.Unhelpful, always a delay, not wanting to do the work needed and mostly ignore you.They are unwilling to even speak about maintenance issues, all they do is take the rent and ignore you. Heating issue? Fix yourselfDrainage issue? Fix yourselfIssues they said they would fix once you moved in? Fix yourselfProperty inspection? Waste of time, they never turn up and ignore youI just have no idea why it’s so difficult to get things done. Isaac in the maintenance department literally does nothing to help and would never even bother replying. Unprofessional and unhelpful staff. We loved the property we inquired about, but the listing was not transparent hence why I think such a beauty property is still not rented yet and has even been reduced. There is no parking and it is unfurnished, though the listing will not state this. When called to ask, two agents could not point out to the written bit where it says it is unfurnished or furnished, with one condescending agent hanging up the phone.

salford quays barance were the worst letting agents we have been unfortunate enough to have dealings with, if you can avoid them I suggest that you do. the move in inventory was a work of fiction with not a single fault or damage mentioned and the flat was filthy with numerous items of damage and disrepair that they are now trying to claim from us after moving out and leaving the place in better condition that we moved in Jessica was so tardy at arranging repairs that we gave up. never again would we deal with these people

RR advised they couldn’t contact the branch. We took matters into our own hands and contacted St Helens and advised them of the situation and could we come in to scan passports which they agreed…Why are we doing all the running around when paying RR to act dopey and do nothing….There is a fantastic university I’d Durham so why do they have to employ morons in RR Durham…Surely there must be students looking for part-time work!!!!Worse estate agents ever used

Don’t touch with a barge pole!!

Truly awful experience…so unprofessional. Total lack of communication. On completion day, went to drop keys in and office was all locked up! We had been in a few days before to make sure of arrangements and were told there would be someone in their office at all times on completion day. Eventually Luke arrived - he had been for lunch, but there was no-one to cover…unbelievable on a Friday, the most popular day of the week for moving house. Whoever is the manager in Chester needs to realise that we are paying good money for a service, when it shouldn’t be unreasonable to expect someone to actually be on the premises to receive keys from their customers. It gets worse…our buyer went later to collect the keys and the shop was locked up again! It’s 5:30pm now and they still haven’t been able to get the keys. No phone calls to either ourselves or our buyers before hand to explain what was going on - we had to do all the chasing to find out why we were being let down. Begs the question ‘what are we paying for?’ Please avoid this Estate Agent.

Dreadful staff and experience. Took a deposit of over £200 to apply for a rental property. Staff member Caroline was rude and aggressive on the phone when she suggested we hadn't completed our application in a timely manner, even though the delay and problem was with the checking agent they use, and then refused to return the deposit when the application was turned down due to adverse credit, which we had declared.They prey on people desperate to find a home. Absolute shysters - stay away from them at all costs. They will find some reason to retain your deposit at the very time you can ill afford to lose it.Update 12/10/24I was promised a refund minus a £50 ‘admin fee’ by the Glossop branch manager, which I accepted on the basis that I’d at least recoup some of the money they took. However it’s been over 10 days, and I have received neither the refund nor any update about when to expect it. Dealing with them is a degrading and disheartening experience.

After a hellish experience with another local estate agent, I happened to get a mailshot through the door from Reeds Rains - and it was fantastic serendipity. Matthew Candow and Craig Helps were like a breath of fresh air; no nonsense, no over-valuing, helpful, great at communicating, fantastic marketing and found a buyer within 6 weeks of taking my home on. It has been a smooth and straightforward process from beginning to end. I cannot recommend Reeds Rains enough.
