GoogleAs a former tenant of a property managed by Mark Templar we had to leave the property due to the serious damp issues. While one of the staff attended the property and acknowledged the damp, nothing was done to resolve it. I sent three emails, all of which were roundly ignored by Mark Templar. My health has been so severely affected by living in this property that I am taking legal action against the landlord of the property.

GoogleI rented from Mark Templer for about 18 months. I recently bought a house and moved out - leaving the flat professionally cleaned and spotless. Their 'independent' inspection service stated I left the flat 'dusty, un-hoovered, unclean, greasy...' I am now having to take them to court to try and get my deposit back. Fortunately I have lots of photos that show I left the flat very clean and tidy. I have since become aware of other people having similar problems.
Moving is stressful at the best of times, but Mark Templer have made my move a nightmare! I would never recommend this letting agency to anyone. I am honestly shocked by how contemptuously I am being treated as a renter, especially as I paid my rent on time and was always polite, flexible and accommodating.....

GoogleInitial good experience with first property. We watched the video tour - liked the property and put an application in. We were then invited for an in person viewing, we were told there was on street parking, upon our arrival it was pay and display and no permit parking so we no longer were interested in the property.
Found and applied for a second property with Mark Templer - had our application rejected with no explanation given.
After finding a third property we were interested in with Mark Templer we put an application in... 2 weeks later no application given to us and the property is still available. This goes to show that because we changed our mind on one property, after a video viewing, they will no longer put you through for a landlord. Given that Mark Templer refuse to do in person viewings until you have put an application in, this is extremely poor service and unprofessional. We have found another property with a local estate agent, who let us view the property in person, take our time and apply/NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism
