Buying a house is the biggest investment most people ever make. I bought a house in D16 from Sherry FitzGerald New Homes pre-COVID in 2019 and never once had a face to face with a Sherry Fitz employee. Remarkable! On the day of handover, they had a builder from the site meet us at the house with the key. He handed the key over and walked away. I never heard from anyone again to check in on us. We've had a bunch of issues since with the house and estate and nobody wants to know. I thought it was just us, but all the neighbours are in the same boat. Get the money as quick as you can and then move onto the next deal! When I bought off Quillsen in the past, the agent met us at the house to handover the keys with a bottle of bubbly and a congratulations card. They then walked us around the house to make sure we knew how everything worked. They then followed up a few months later to see how everything was going with the new house. That is proper customer service. I wouldn't buy a house marketed by Sherry Fitz every again. My recommendation to Sherry Fitz is to take a good look at their customer experience.

Excellent & highly professional service

We are so grateful to Julian, Michelle and the team in the Castleknock office for the highly professional, efficient and supportive service they provided for our elderly mother in the recent sale of the family home of 58 years. The house went on the market shortly before the lockdown and despite this we managed to complete the sale on 26th June. We were kept informed every step of the way and they were accessible and responsive if we had any questions. They always had our mothers safety and wellbeing as a priority. As a family we would highly recommend Sherry Fitzgerald.

Couldn't have done more

Worked with Sam at the IFSC branch. Very knowledgeable about our development, professional, courteous and pleasant throughout. Both Chris and Sam struck us as less hard sell and more 'tell us how it is'. They knew the market extremely well and even though COVID-19 intervened, they still got a great buyer and a great price with the deal completed in a very timely manner. Placed an order and then there was no further update from the agent for over a month.I called them for update then the agent called back and ask what can they help me???After the call they asked me to increase the offer, it is totally fine but should be more proactive. Unfortunetly, one star, I know the current situation on the market, but, I was emailing about property, went to see it externaly, got very interested about it, called up the office, lady have told me that I can not put the offer untill I see the house inside, and that some other guy will call me to arrange that (I was told I'm on the list and she have my number etc.) Waited over a week for that call, nothing happened, emailed them, no answer, to find out 3 hours later in internet that house is Sale Agreed.

Ed Reilly came to value our home in anticipation of us going to market. we used SF to sell our house unfortunately the agent told me he couldn't tell us who was coming to view the house because of DATA protection this is not the case with other estate agents and I was also told that no bookings would be allowed unless the person viewing the property had funds approved or financially able to purchase the house this was one of the conditions I had requested due to the fact that I'd have to leave my house everytime someone viewed it which wasnt an issue really but I would rather someone coming in that had funds rather than a person who didn't as it's only wasting time for me and my family aswell as the agents I found that once I signed a contract things had changed only for those reasons I wouldn't recommend but had never any issues in the past

Very annoyed with sherry fitzgerald tallaght. Mislead about a few things during the already stressful process of buying apartment. I was told on a couple of occasions that furniture was included so I gave all my furniture to charity shop, only to find a completely empty apartment to move into. Have to now spend money I don't have to buy a whole new set of furniture on Christmas week. Very unprofessional people.
