The Clare office have been responsible for the sale of my mothers home in the town centre. (She is now in a care home down by me, unable to act for herself, I live in Kent). They have been brilliant. They have held the keys and sourced tradesmen and cleaners, have been a go between with solicitors and myself, and have been in constant touch by phone or email. I couldn't ask for a better or more reliable service. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, and a big shout out to Tracey Chapman in the office who has been fantastic. Thank you so much for your efforts.

Nick Mills and the team carried out our house sale well. We saw 4 agents to start with and we went with them. They gave sound advice on pricing and looked after us well from brochure, to sales, to liaising between our buyer and ourselves, to even finding a place for us to rent post sale. Nick is dynamic, and very knowledgeable on the market, and the whole team are helpful and friendly - we dealt also with Matthew and Tracey.

The initial enquiry was handled well, the initial visit was good and the proposal seemed reasonable enough. The office was very efficient and friendly, all the initial paperwork was sent out in a timely manner. The agent didn't have to work very hard to get a sale, and the drive to complete seemed to come from our legal team. The sale was completed in good time and the communication between the vendor and the Agent was OK, It appears to have been better between the purchaser and the Agent. Overall the service was good but it could have been a bit better with support and advice for the preparation of the property for sale, it was generally vague and when acting for the house owner as we were as attorneys' professional advice would have been useful and would have eased the stress of the situation, as it was we referred to our solicitors who to be fair get a five star review. Support from the office was very good when there was a problem, and we are very grateful for that. Would we recommend David Burr? I would , but with the caveat to look around at other agents in the area, they do have a monopoly, which may be the reason for their air of complacency.

David Burr and the Clare team have been absolutely wonderful throughout the process of selling our home. Matthew, Tracey and colleagues have been soo helpful and very professional, it has been an absolute pleasure to deal with them. There was also the professional photographer who took such lovely and natural photos, even on a very grey day! Selling and moving can be a stressful time and the Clare team’s experience and advice has been much appreciated :) Would recommend the team for sure!

My experience with David Burr, Clare was very disappointing. Communication with Tracey was perfect, thank you, but the men only spoke to me when I phoned to see what was going on. I am the person selling through them. Apparently there was plenty of communication with my buyer but not passed onto me. Perhaps it was because my property was in the lower price range. Although the service undertaken by Casper was faultless, the house we purchased wasn't. The house was dirty to the point where we had to sweep cobwebs off the walls and ceiling of our bedroom before we could go to bed, neither the oven nor the bathroom had been cleaned in a long while. Perhaps this should have been pointed out the the sellers.
