Update::::Challenged them still had to pay for cleaning even though had video of flat on last day, but got money back they kept for a broken door that was there when I took flat. Challenge them at end of tenancy as vile company to deal with or even better look elsewhere!!!Keep well away take over a month to return your deposit and try to take money for damage that was there before you take over also make up a figure for cleaning flat. Apparently I had dusty light shades and a dirty drawer on washing machine and this cost £179 to get cleaned. Now going to have to go through lawyers or god knows what to get money back

Clyde Property were fantastic to deal with, they kept me updated with the viewings and any interest. Everyone I spoke to was helpful and pleasant. Clyde also created a great video and pictures which showed off my flat really well. This led to lots of viewings and a quick sale. I found the online portal extremely helpful as well. I would happily use Clyde Property again and would recommend to others.

TrustpilotToo intrusive inspections and unprofessional inspector. Best avoided.
I rented a flat from Clyde Property for over 10 years and in that time, had intrusive flat inspections every 8 weeks which involved them looking into fridges, ovens, etc and taking photos of everything, even including inside radiators. These inspections were only meant to last 10 minutes however some were around 20 minutes. Ridiculously over the top and was nothing short of harrassment. We had one incident where we received a housekeeping letter. At a later inspection, the flat inspector irrelevantly told a workman something which i'm pretty certain was a breach of confidentiality and gdpr. I reported it to Clyde who went into hiding and did everything they could to avoid replying. They had to be chased up numerous times before I eventually got a reply gaslighting me and trying to normalise what happened. The only plus was, the staff in the office were usually very nice and helpful, and repairs were dealt with efficiently. However, that aside, where avoidable, I'd not rent from Clyde again, mainly because of their ridiculous inspections.

I started conversations with Clyde at the start of February and got everything booked in to go to market at the end of February. My flat was only on the market a week and went to closing date. The efficiency and guidance from Clyde has been so impressive - the team really know their market. Comparing it to other selling experiences, I have really appreciated how seamless this one has been, with very little stress!

The transparency from the Clyde property team was 1st class. A property chain can result in a lot of concern but the team on Clyde mitigate this by being open and honest and keeping communications real time. The team in Bearsden do operate as one team which is great from a customer perspective as updates and responses to questions were quickly and efficiently handled no matter who you spoke to from the Clyde team.

Bad for tenants and good for landlords.We had the worst check out process we ever faced living in Scotland. The process took 26 days after repeated calls to the office. Then as all the shady agencies they charged 168 pounds for cleaning when we had already used the professional cleaning services. They know we need the deposit money as soon as possible so they used this against us. They also charged £150 for damage where most of the items were as it is what we got when we moved in. During our more than 2 yrs of stay in the flat we didn't face any problems with the agency or landlord, but it suddenly became a different company when we handed out our notice.I would advise every tenant using this agency to take photos and note down any micro problem you find and then only sign the agreement. And do the same thing before you handover the keys.We didn't have this problem with any of our previous agency.

FacebookClyde were the third estate agent I went to when I decided to sell my flat in Edinburgh and I am very happy the other two were utterly unprofessional. The service I have received from Clyde since the first meeting has been exemplary. In terms of presentation their staff have been exceptional. Communication has also featured strongly with regards to what is happening around viewings and offers. I would have no hesitation in using them again. Thank you for all you have done for me.

Appalling rental property management service. Avoid if you’re a landlord or a tenant.Disastrous inability to communicate. Unreliable trades persons sent to deal with issues, Incorrect rent payments made to me even though tenants paid Clyde correctly. Didn’t even respond to my notice to terminate contract with Clyde, then so slow to act that transfer to new agent for one property had to be delayed. Clyde failed to act on tenants repeated reports of a leak for two months - downstairs property ceiling collapsed as a result. Showers not working properly for more than 6 months - in this time Clyde arranged a contractor to attend who replaced both showers (which was clearly not the issue anyway) but who then refused to attend again when that didn’t fix the problem. Clyde didn’t have any plan at all after that so I had to take back management of the property myself to resolve this issue. Clyde failed to transfer utilities into tenants name as stated they would - 10 months on and I’m £200 out of pocket and still dealing with outstanding issues with Scottish power as a result and my tenants are still trying to pay off a large bill they weren’t aware of. After I left Clyde, my tenants received invoices to pay rent to Clyde still and I received notice of mandatory testing to be done. Went into local branch to take back the keys they held and the manager claimed no knowledge of any problems or that we were leaving, however tenants had repeatedly contacted her about the issues they’d had!I’d have been better managing the properties myself from the start as I ended up spending more time chasing Clyde than if I’d just been dealing with things myself. Also I feel so bad for my tenants who’ve had so much stress and worry not to mention financial implications due to Clydes ineptitude. Unbelievably poor service.

TrustpilotSimple urgent repair. Still not done.
I have a simple repair that is needed (reported on Jan 12th) to keep the front door and 3 internal doors shut. Have had to chase it every step of the way. Rubbish excuses. Rubbish communication. Rubbish service. Zero compassion. Innefective. Would not reccomend. Would not have moved in if I had known about issues. They were either not in the inventory or they were and had not been spotted. Its to protect my toddler so I'm losing my mind a bit trying to keep chasing. Really unpleasant worrying about it.
