Outstanding professionalism and customer service, discretion and a great manner

We had a fast turn around between offer and moving date which required the purchase of some new furniture and a gas safety certificate. Chantelle arranged for us to meet the tenants at very short notice (we made the request Saturday morning and met them that evening). She gave us a great recommendation on British Heart Foundation for some unwanted furniture and was helpful at every point. New beds and the gas safety certificate were in pace by Monday with a moving in date of Tuesday. At every point I felt Chantelle was reliable and in control, on top of detail and looking out for BOTH the tenants and ourselves as landlords. This is our second experience using Thorgills to find tenants and our first experience working with Chantelle. I would definitely recommend both the agency in marketing and identifying tenants and Chantelle in helping us manage every aspect of the process once provisional tenants had been identified.

Great service - nothing was too much trouble!

From the very outset Chantelle and indeed the whole Thorgills team have been excellent! Great service - nothing has been too much trouble! I highly recommend them. I have one observation that will help reduce the whole team's workload. i would emphasise that this is not a criticism. There has been a lot of duplication of requests, emails and work, which I think could be avoided with some means of cross-referencing or centralising client communication. Fast and professional

Alice Carrick was particular useful and efficient in dealing with my queries and concerns during the course of the re-let of my property. Whilst i was disappointed with Thorgills that i was going to be paying another 12 months of fees at the initial starting rate plus i lost 14 days of rent, Alice escalated the concerns swiftly in order to keep the momentum and ultimately I progressed with the deal primarily due to her at a point when i was about to pull out due to the fees. Efficient, Professional and Proactive

My experience so far with Thorgills has been excellent. A good quality tenant was found the same day as instruction after one viewing, and an asking price offer secured. Chantelle, Leon and Eduard have been helpful and polite, and I hope that the cleaning and check in I have booked through Thorgills will be just as impressive. Fantastic effieciency and thorough care from start to finish

Chantelle worked tirelessly to make sure the contract went through on time. She arranged furniture and other services for us we required with great care and full attention. We had a few hurdles to overcome getting the deal over the line but nothing was too much for Chantelle to handle. Friendly Property Agent but Terrible Property Management !!

LandLords and potential Tenants, Stay away from this well named* agency, extremely friendly when dealing with the letting process but when it comes to property magament, OMG, I wonder why the keep changing the stuff every few weeks, Im 100% sure the problem comes from the Management Manager/Director, which when we complained the just told us how good she is and how many awards she's won !! After we spoke with a very nice lady that was trying to get things sorted she mentioned that the major issue was the manager.. but when anyone complains, goes to the first & less experienced person without awards.. what a pity !! Read a few complains and all is about the same.. What a Regret !!

Professional and efficient

We have been very impressed with Thorgills. They are very professional, fair and efficient with good communication and very reasonable fees. They were able to deal with a very difficult situation in a way that took away all the stress from the landlord. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any landlord looking for a different type of agency. We have been renting our two flats for 20 years now and have had some very negative situations regarding letting agents, but in the 8 years we have been with Thorgills, we have been very happy.

Strongly DO NOT recomment

Poor management of property. Very slow in doing their job. Not very professional. Lack of anticipation of issues. Not prone to help find solutions or alternatives. Always saying "sorry" with no action behind it to follow up. Upon moving in, the flat was to be professionally cleaned and that is why we had t delay moving in. The time at which we were to move in, the previous tenants were having their furniture moved out. The flat was disgusting, used toilet paper etc... on the floor. A professional cleaner was not arranged and could not be provided for over 3 days, our movers were there, so we had to clean the flat ourselves. Other parts of the flat are not working entirely since over 6 months we are here, and if it 50% working, they consider that to be fine and will not seek more. Strongly disrecommend as they lack professionalism and ethics.
