We have had a great experience with Strakers. Their knowledge of the local area and widespread location of their offices enabled them to find a buyer for us without having to market the property. The staff have been responsive, courteous and friendly. They have always followed up on any queries and acted fairly with all parties. We are really happy with our experience and would not hesitate to recommend Strakers to anyone. In fact, we have already recommended them to our friends!

Strakers Lettings staff are very approachable and professional. Their systems are very efficient and provide ourselves, as landlords, with peace of mind as far as management of the property is concerned. They are happy to organise trusted tradesmen to visit the property when maintenance issues arise, but are equally happy for us to use our tradesmen if we would rather.It is very reassuring to know if the tenants need to ring their emergency number due to an unexpected problem having occurred, there is someone on hand to organise emergency repairs. They work very closely in partnership with ourselves for the best outcome for all parties, landlords, tenants and good level of maintenance of the property. Their services give us peace of mind.

Initial service was great. Sadly that was undermined by a series of disappointing experiences with the service regarding outgoing tenants. On three occasions my property was deemed to have been left in a satisfactory condition but this was far from the case. I had to fight for retention of deposit money for cleaning etc (happy to provide details). This was extremely frustrating as the whole point of employing the services of an agent was to protect my property and spare myself aggravation. Not happy!Fast forward to recent months however and the arrival of Claire Edwards at the Devizes office. Hooray! Someone who really has their (eagle) eye on the ball, who is a stickler for standards, and who is unafraid to tackle tenants about issues. Faith redeemed. Despite my disappointments I have always found members of the Strakers organisation to be respectful, polite and friendly.

We have used Strakers three times to date in both a selling and buying capacity and have been 100% pleased with their services each time.They are always totally professional and honest in every way, we have always had a great feeling of being able to leave everything to them. We always felt confident to trust them to carry out whatever was needed without us having to do much at all other than the legal basics. Every member of staff have been fully approachable and always easy to get in touch with should the need arise too which is something of a rarity these days.If I needed an estate agents service in that area again I would have no hesitation is using them or recommending them to friends and family.

We purchased and sold via North Swindon Strakers and they were fantastic throughout. When we first approached the team, they were professional and reassuring. They kept us updated about viewings and gave us constructive feedback. They regularly showed us appropriate houses on the market and ones new to the market, really listening to what we needed from a house. Everyone in the office was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend Strakers and felt they provided an excellent, value for money service.

I bought through Strakers and they were great all the way through the process. (Much better than the Estate Sgents I sold through.) They kept me in the loop and were on hand to answer any queries I had. They removed the sold sign promptly after I had moved in. They even gave me a bottle of bubbly when I picked up the keys, which was a lovely touch! Helpful and friendly and even though I have no plans to move again any time soon, I would use Strakers next time!

Strakers successfully sold my small 'quirky' terrace house in a tricky market for a good price. Although this wasn't a big sale for them, I felt I was treated just as well as if I had been selling a much more expensive property. The main advantage was that they had a local office, knew the market well, and were able (and willing) to get out to the property at very short notice when access was necessary. The only reason I have not given them 5 stars is because I was a bit disappointed in the first set of pictures they took of the property - they didn't show its best features. However, they willingly took another set which were much better. Perhaps 4.5 stars would be fairer! I would definitely recommend them.

Brough a house in july. The service is not good compare to other agents i have used. I called the day the compilation was done and not even a congratulations. As this was a buy to let property I asked the agent if they can post me the spare key they had. The agent did post.it with the letter head and nothing was on their. I didn't know who to contact and the staff are pretty rude. once you place a offer they don't care.

Excellent service through out a long winded sale. Strakers have helped me with a house sale that took a long time to go through even though there was no chain. Their additional conveyancing service department are worth their weight in gold and I am so grateful for the daily at times updates and chasing of the buyers solicitors.Thank you Strakers. I would definitely recommend this agent as they are the biggest in Devizes and have a large share of the sales for the town. They have great resources to help their clients get good results when selling and buying.

We have bought and sold via Strakers this year and a Strakers property was in the chain when our son bought his first house. We have also used them as lettings agents for many years now.The staff have been fantastic. We know estate agent's tend to have a rather poor reputation, but we can only comment on our own experience. The progressing team were brilliant and were often the only people (our own solicitor included!) who could tell us what was going on! And they were incredibly helpful with our son's move, even though he wasn't buying directly through Strakers.All the staff, both in lettings and sales, have only ever been professional, polite and patient. Well done Strakers of Devizes :)

Having been looking for a property to rent for a little while and getting no where, we found one listed with Strakers. The whole process was so simple and straight forward. The staff are wonderful and helpful to deal with they made a stressful situation more of a breeze can not recommend them highly enough especially the lettings manager Nick, brilliant service!
