Prompt response to initial query. Punctual visit to review the house and set an asking price that was a realistic starting figure. Very detailed and professional photography and preparation of sale brochure. Excellent 3D video tour. Contact with viewing agents was first class, feedback provided quickly by phone call and on the personalised section of the website. There was always someone to discuss developments with and specific members of the team to deal with any developments. Excellent service throughout by Richard and the team. For the valuation Richard arrived on time and well prepared. He had a good knowledge of the area. He took an unrushed strategic approach to the sale. Rather than "doing a Scottie" (aiming high, being happy with what you get), there was a very clear step by step process, considering the whole chain validity to the benefit of all. Great customer service was on hand throughout. Yes, it was more expensive than other quotes, but for selling a property I'd much rather pay more and have some of the stress taken away than go for the cheapest and have a poor service and more stress. However, throughout the process Richard Coyle and Emily Casey were always there with a warm, friendly smile, keen sense of humour and a patient listening ear. Very high praise indeed for this professional team led by Richard Coyle. I was compelled to sell my widowed mother's house under Power of Attorney terms after she moved into a care home. The workload on me appeared rather daunting at first but Richard talked us through the entire process which was fully joined up, with allied conveyancing solicitors and marketing. Viewings were well handled and we were kept fully informed throughout the process. The property was quickly sold for the asking price. Dear All New Potential Property…

Dear All New Potential Property Clients,Please steer well clear of Cubitt and West.I recently requested to rent a property and requested a copy of their application process and timing before making any deposit. This information was not provided and eventually managed to get the requirements only by telephone.We made our deposit based on the confirmation of the details that we provided we were told were acceptable to rent a property.We then received a credit check and to our surprise I had CCJ listed against my name in November 2019 from back in 2012! There was not letter informing us about this claim as I now currently work abroad since 2017.Cubitt told my wife that our application had been cancelled and that they were keeping our deposit of 320 GBP. My wife is now left homeless with 2 young children and the agent did not want to discuss anything further.You have all read this post and advised to be careful or best still to avoid this agent!I know they will counter this post with some old story they have made up., but please don''t believe a word of what they say.I am not the only customer who has had a bad experience with this agent if you carryout a google search there are thousands of people who had the same bad experience as myself.Stephen J PickingConsultant

Wouldn’t use any other estate agent!

After meeting Michelle we didn’t get any other estate agents in. Straight away we took to her open and honest nature. We didn’t want the usual estate agent nonsense and she was up front with all information and costs. As soon as we signed things moved quickly and met the members of staff who were selling our home. Both Leonie and Chevan were lovely and we felt confident they were looking after our best interests. Unfortunately our first buyer fell through, but this didn’t cause a problem as Leonie stayed late to re-market our property, within days we had another buyer thanks to C & W. We’ve now finally exchanged thanks to Lindy who’s been negotiating between us and the buyer to the end. From start to finish I would definitely recommend C & W Redhill.

Kerry-Ann was excellent during the buying process of our bungalow.She went above and beyond to make sure that both parties manged to get the deal done before the stamp duty dead line.She helped us find the right property and then made sure that everything when through on time. House Purchase through Cubitt and West

I have recently bought a house through the Cranleigh branch of Cubitt and West. I have found the whole team to be extremely helpful (Kerry-Ann, Ross and Pam) however I would like to thank Lindy Cunningham in particular as my sales progresser, based in Redhill, who has been really kind and patient with me as I have gone through this process during a difficult time. I have found the purchase stressful but she has answered my calls courteously and promptly along with my emails, chased up numerous queries and I feel has added the personal touch to the whole process. I am very happy with the service that Cubitt and West has provided and indeed I will be moving into my new house within the next fortnight which is both a relief and a joy.

Big shout out to the Horley branch

We would like to say a huge thank you to Siobhan and Ellie at the Horley branch.From the moment Siobhan came round for our first meeting we knew we were in good hands. She was very professional, friendly and made us feel at ease straight away.Selling a property is stressful enough but we were selling two. Siobhan and Ellie have taken a lot of the stress out of it by keeping in constant contact with us and giving us feedback after each viewing.We were always made to feel we were important and nothing was too much trouble. Ellie even popped round one evening after work to take some more photos as my partner wanted some more added. His property sold shortly afterwards so it obviously did the trick, thanks Ellie.We would highly recommend C&W Horley branch, Siobhan and Ellie are a great team, they genuinely care, they look happy to see us whenever we pop into the branch, they always make us feel welcome, we’ve never felt like we were being a nuisance or inconvenience.Thank you for all your hard work ladies.

So good they sold it twice!

Kerry-Ann sold my parents’ house to them back in 2006 and then sold it for them again in 2021. The reason they chose Kerry-Ann and Cubitt & West this year was because they remembered her clearly and the excellent service 15 years ago. She was totally professional, extremely helpful, kind, knowledgeable, candid, proactive, and went out of her way to make the process easy for my elderly parents who were both shielding much of the time. And it couldn’t have been easy during the worst of Covid. Kerry-Ann and her team were brilliant at juggling my requests around my mum and dad’s sale. I was very grateful.

Amazing service from start to finish…

Amazing service from start to finish from Abby Tallack. We are a family relocating from abroad after 8 years and have received 5 star service throughout. Our situation was a little complicated and at every step, the communication was spot on. Abby managed to get our keys within a week of first showing interest. Nothing was too much trouble. If Abby ever leaves this profession id have zero hesitation employing her. She is a total credit to this company who now shine far brighter than others we have 'engaged' with. I wont name them.. But not answering phones? Not replying to emails? Being cut off.. Etc etc Cubitt and especially Abby are to be trusted, endorsed and have given my wife and I total confidence and peace of mind.

From the get go they were really sensitive about what we wanted and understood the emotion that can come with selling a house - always having our feelings at the centre of the whole process.
