Just purchased a property with wdh in…

Just purchased a property with wdh in Rugby houlton I would say its one of the best house buying experience with wdh. Absolutely a brilliant consumer service.Especially, Bev from sales office is excellent, without her help we would have definitely not purchased this property. We had so many difficulties during the purchase process everytime we end up in a difficult situation she helped us in some way to get around the problem. Everytime we pop in to her office without appoinment she still welcomed us with smile(even before we confirmed the purchase). The so called other big builders should probably learn from wdf on what is customer first approach. The after sales process was also brilliant. John from the site team was excellent in preparing the snaging list and took action so quickly to get things resolved. I would strongly recommend to have a visit to the sales office if you looking for a new build in Rugby and I strongly would say you will get a better experience then other builders around Rugby. I would like to say a big thanks for Bev and wdh team for giving us a pleasent and a hassle free purchase experience.

Fabulous staff at Hastings Green…

We viewed a property at Hastings Green with Suzanne she was so professional and wonderful to deal with but we hadn’t sold our house we subsequently did sell and Sue put the property on hold and again was very well informed and a pleasure to deal with we finally met June Hall who is the normal site sales agent she also proved to be very professional and site knowledgeable with the result with a deposit paid and we cannot wait to move in will keep you informed but thanks again to the three musketeers

Our whole experience from first putting…

Our whole experience from first putting down a deposit on our house at Wellington Place, Market Harborough to moving in at the end of September 2023 has been very positive. The sales team were excellent, keeping us informed on progress and answering our questions promptly. The site manager was also excellent before completion, on moving in day and in the months since. We had a few very minor snagging issues that were resolved swiftly and to our satisfaction. We have settled well into our new home and so far have had no issues. All in all, a lovely experience. Thank you to all involved and well done William Davis.

Wm Davies purchased our house as part of an exchange package . They gave us a fair price for our property and offered us a fair purchase price for their new build house. The exchange worked very well and we moved into our new home last year. The quality of the new property was very good with only a couple of very minor defects . On site sales team together with on site site management and office based customer service team were all very good to deal with . It was a pleasure to deal with such a quality house builder.

Fully recommend William Davis

We’ve been in our house on the Lace Fields development for 18 months now and can report that we are totally satisfied with William Davis and the build quality. Soon after moving in we hired a Snagging Inspector, who rigorously assessed the house, drainage and build quality. He only found very minor issues and his overall conclusion was to congratulate us on having bought a very good house.The minor snagging issues were immediately put right by William Davis to our complete satisfaction. Since then you get a 24 month period to report any issues. We have only had to report one issue that was cosmetic rather than structural and yet again William Davis very quickly rectified the problem. The house itself is extremely energy efficient with our average monthly energy bill (gas and electric) being £85 and we’re still in credit. Our house also has been very well designed to maximise space. It flows very well and we enjoy living here. Outside there is good/generous space between neighbouring properties which you don’t often get on new estates.There are two or three other new build sites close by, which generally the houses are not as well constructed as our home. Additionally, the equivalent houses to ours are generally £30,000 to £60,000 more.After 18 months I felt this is a good time to write this assessment as any major issue would have emerged by now.To conclude we believe that we’ve really got very good value for money and would recommend William Davis to anyone.

Surprisingly good!

Stephanie Holland at Skylarks Chesterfield really knows her onions and yet she’s not even a gardener! What she is, is a font of knowledge and ruthless efficiency wrapped up in a very pleasant lady.The house itself is, much to my surprise, exceedingly well constructed with the most minor of snags at handover which were all rectified without hesitation.Would I buy another WD house? I’d be tempted if there was a bit of negotiating room on the table!

Customer Care?

Buying the property was not an issue however customer care since moving in has been far from acceptable. You can never get hold of anyone when you ring the number. So you have to leave a message. Usually nobody returns your call until you have followed up with a second call and message. Reluctant to take accountability for any issues outside of minor decorative snags. Lindsay in particular demonstrates a complete lack of empathy and offers ‘sort it yourself’ advice. Would expect far better from a company of this size

Lovely Lace Fields

Buying a new home is one of the most stressful things you do in life and boy was this a stressful time. Our one constant in the whole process was Kelly our amazing sales consultant at Lace fields Ruddington. She literally made the whole William Davis purchase run like clockwork. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Any questions, queries or niggles Kelly sorted them instantly, she handled every aspect with ease and professionalism. Kelly’s friendly disposition and knowledge of the business makes the whole process easier and we will be forever grateful to her for making our new home journey a happy one.
