My brother and I recently bought a house in Barnsley, the keys have apparently been posted out to us by recorded delivery 4 days we were given no tracking number or any information, we have ask repeatedly for a some details and still received nothing, we have dealt with South Yorkshire auction house before and never had an issue but the keys were always kept by local estate agents.

A very easy process from start to finish. I had a Victorian house split into three flats to sell. Tge agent went out to view and appraise the property, there was no need for me to be present and as I had had previous dealings I felt happy not being there. There was then a discussion as to the guide price. Watching / Listening to the auction online wasn't as fun as being there in person but the auction was easy to follow. The property was unsold during the auction as it didn't meet my reserve but two hours after an offer was made and I accepted. This is a hassle free way to sell. Worthwhile thinking about it.

The staff were knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and efficient. The process was explained very clearly so we knew exactly what to expect. Communication was also really good with plenty of updates in the run up to, the day of, and after the auction. The whole experience was just incredibly easy and took all the stress away from selling a house.

We dealt with Jenny Austen who was fabulous from start to finish. She put our mind at rest about the whole auction process, as we had previously only used traditional estate agents. Such a smooth, straightforward sale, which all happened really quickly. I only wish I had tried it sooner. Would have saved me so much stress from buyers pulling out and chains collapsing!

Their website is a joke, I cannot log in saying with it saying "email address and password are incorrect" even though it is the Google saved information from when originally registered and logging in, So I try password reset and get "email address not recognised" Which is odd as they send emails to that email address! reminding me about the properties I was watching (which I cannot log at as I cannot log in)

Scam. They lure you in with 'national in person auctions and huge success stories with quick sales. They say they will put your property on the auction but dont. Then when you dont get on the auction and want to stop the process they hit you with a 'withdrawl fee' for marketing costs plus other fees. I dealt with Mat and Eilidh. I even tried to speak to the Director but was told they 'are too busy for phone calls'... all they did was put the flat on Rightmove and try sell it with exorbitant agent fees on the market not at an Auction... why? Because they dont want to ruin their stats that they wax lyrical about to lure you in on the first place... What waste of time, energy & money.

I dealt with Lukas in Staffordshire to sell my grandfathers property. He was excellent from start to finish in helping me navigate the sale which had fallen through several times previously with other agents / auctions. Whilst the property failed to meet the reserve on the actual auction day Lukas secured a sale outside of this at a price very close to the reserve and the sale completed in 28 days
