I like this company

I like this company. Very efficient and quick before and after the purchase I made, keeping me informed all the way. Actual auction bidding is easy and they give you time to think and make a bid. I would have given it 5* but you have to make a deposit to bid (which is fair enough), and if you are successful in your bid you then have to find 10% of the purchase price fairly quickly (again ok), however they don't let you use the deposit amount they already have. This is returned to you when they have the 10%. Seems strange to me unless there is some legal thing going on here.

Property Auctions are the future!

First time ever buying a property at auction. And wow - Auction House Wales delivered for us! Tempting guide prices got us interested and the comprehensive legal pack gave us the lowdown. I had never sold a property before by auction but on speaking to Dean and him talking me through the process i decided to take things further and meet him at the property , Dean gave me excellent advice on reserve price based on what i was hoping to achieve and filled me in what would happen next,At the time before the auction i received regular updates on progress from his staff. On the day of the auction i was over the moon at the result and all i can say is a big thank you to Dean and all his staff for a pleasant experience. Before I decided to put the property to auction i had 2 property developers trying very hard to get me to sell them the property for £98.000 less than it was worth and realised at the auction, I have no hesitation in recomeding Auction House to anybody looking to sell a property

Auction House North East Excellent

Catherine Bell at Auction House North East must be one of the most patient people I've come across. I had been helping an aunt sell her property for reasons I won't go into here, the only way forward with this was auction it. However during the process my aunt suddenly became very ill so we had to pull the property from the planned auction. Sadly my aunt died 2 months later. We then had to wait 10 months for probate before we could get the property back into auction. Throughout all of this Catherine has kept in touch. The auction company have dealt admirably with the marketing side of the delayed sale and helped with advice on how to keep the empty property safe. Finally the property is sold. I just want to recommend the whole comapny for their professionalism and especially Catherine Bell in Middlesbrough, for her excellent help and support.

Outstanding service, all round.

I was in the unfortunate position of selling a property that had been badly fire damaged. Gary from Auction House came along to take a look on a very wet and miserable day, advised me of what he expected it would go for in auction and a rough guide for reserve. Not only was he spot on with his estimation but he kept me informed all the way through the process. I was genuinely very, very impressed and can't see how I would have done any better selling through a 'normal' agent. In fact probably much worse. There is also the benefit in auction that when the hammer goes down you are pretty much guaranteed a sale and completion in around 4 weeks. I can't recommend Auction House highly enough!

This was my first modern auction purchase. I was a bit concerned that I wouldn’t be able to get any information about the property outside of the auction pack.Wrong! I was able to obtain far more information from the auction house, and viewing. I did have a few questions which were put to the vendor and I got the response. So very similar to through an estate agent.Auction house were very clear about the charges that I would be expected to pay and the timescales in when I needed to pay them.Romilly was very good at taking me through step-by-step before and after my successful auction win.The online bidding process was very simple.Within the month I have gone on to buy a second property through auction house.

Last minute decision to bid led to successful outcome

Although I had registered to bid a few weeks ago it was not until the last minute that I decided to bid but staff on the phone were very helpful even though the auction had already started and I was able to bid for the two properties I had already viewed. I lost out on the first one but got the second one at a good price in a very exciting contest and again staff were very helpful in clearing up a misunderstanding that I had formed about the details of the last few bids made. Thank you Helen, Elaine and Sally. You have made the whole process much less stressful than it might have been for someone like me who has never bid at auction before.
