The team at Humphreys were great from start to finish. Even with our renting situation, which had made us hard to place by other lettings companies, my partner and I never felt like we were treated any differently to other prospective tenants. The process happened so quickly, and any questions we asked were answered promptly. A special shout-out goes to Lorna, who was so lovely and professional, but also put us at ease given it was our first proper renting experience. If we ever move out of this gorgeous place, we will definitely go with Humphreys again!

I’d like to take the opportunity to thank Katie and Andy in particular along with the rest of the team at Humphreys for all their help and support with the sale of our first home on Kirkwood Close. Andy and Katie always went out of their way for my husband and I to ensure the sale was as stress free as possible, providing reassurance and regular updates throughout the whole process, something of which I am truly greatful for. Moving house alone is stressful enough without there being an ongoing pandemic and heavily pregnant, so they really pulled out all the stops to ensure things ticked along smoothly. I was particularly impressed with the way Humphreys marketed our property and the quality of photographs taken in preparation for our listing. I believe Humphreys have the best and most current marketing tools out there to sell a property and since selling our own home they’ve marketed and SOLD 4/5 other properties on the same close within days/weeks of each other. Some of which properties were on the market with other Chester Estate Agents for months prior! Was Very pleased with Andy Smith’s dealing with Selling my & my Sister’s Late Step Father’s Home 10 months he pushed and eased the process slightly for us. He understood was compassionate to we we’re going through as we had also lost other family as it seemed a never ending tireless and stressful journey. An as Step Father’s Home was in Ellesmere Port my family live in Bolton so it was journey early on in the process thus Andy and his team eased. When we put the house on the market we sold ours in Dec 23 within 10 days and then got the offer accepted on our new house shortly afterwards. The purchase of our new house was not easy, loads of challenges with the sellers. Travelled from another city for viewing arranged several days ago. Received a call 10 mins prior to the viewing to advise they hadn’t got keys for the property (lost / misplaced) Waste of my morning very unprofessional and 3 hours of my life wasted. Reply to your response….. the time that was convenient was today as arranged. A call at 10:50 for a viewing at 11 to tell me there wasn’t a key. You did say that nobody was interested in the property, that there wasn’t an offer in place, yet you claimed that a survey was carried out just a few days ago and the surveyor had taken the key. A survey for a property with no offer in place, or interested parties (your words) was uncontactable and the owners, who had a key, are local but couldn’t be reached couldn’t help either. A lost key maybe or a double booking, or a colleague taking the key home are more realistic excuses. Obviously these all require a degree of ownership. However a 3rd party, possible fictional character doesn’t. The patronising response and narrative that i was fed on the phone today doesn’t stack up. ‘Feel free to have a nose around the garden whilst you’re there’ I’d love to see the surveyors report if possible? She actually saved the house sale at one point because solicitors were sending bad information on behalf of the seller, which was making us have second thoughts. She stepped in and got the correct information directly from the seller within the hour. She was great at checking in with us and keeping us updated throughout the process. Thank you!
