I booked a valuation of a property ready for sale. The valuer who arrived was unwilling to give me an idea of the price to market the property on the visit and a week later I have still had no confirmation of the market valuation or confirmation of terms of business. Worst service compared to competitors in the area who have been around to value property.

From the outset of the process of selling our property Ashley and the team at Currans have provided excellent service and support. At our first visit Ashley clearly knew the local market inside out giving us great confidence in his valuation. He also had a plan to help us work through the slightly complicated aspects of our move. The photographer was excellent and we were delighted with how accurately our property was represented online. Everyone arrived promptly for appointments or phoned if they were going to be even a few minutes delayed. Ashley was supported by a great team including Raef, Ella and Matt meaning that all enquiries via our WhatsApp group were responded to quickly and courteously. I sold my house using Currans and I had exceptional service from start to finish. The professional photos which were taken a few days after I signed up with them were outstanding. They then digitally dressed the house with furniture using the photos as it was empty, this worked amazingly, making it stand out from other estate agents. We have always found staff to be very proffesional, reliable, providing a high level of support and guidance to both tenant and Landlord. Sophie has been key in maintaining an excellent raport with all parties during our letting years. The team are Curran’s are so lovely. I was at the point of giving up my search when I spoke to Meg who restored my faith and sent me so many lovely properties to look at. She arranged viewings for me for the next day which was really helpful as I was on half term and wanted to get sorted before returning to work. During the process I had the pleasure of meeting Lionel who showed me around the two properties, he made me feel very comfortable and that none of my stupid questions were actually stupid questions. I was also supported via telephone by the lovely Bea and Sophie, who answered my multiple questions in the stress of getting everything ready. They helped calm me down and shared in my excitement at the same time. Currans have just helped us sell our home and they were absolutely fantastic. The whole team were helpful but Ash was amazing - honestly think he's the best estate agent we've ever had and we've bought and sold 5 properties over the last 25 years. Ash really listens and is an excellent communicator. Our chain fell down when we were due to complete as there was a problem with the buyers buyer and Ash communicated with the whole chain with optimism and determination to keep the sale going through. They priced our house really well and we got just about the asking price within 3 weeks - they were very efficient and the photos they did were fantastic and they involved us in the process of writing the blurb about the house including encouraging owners quotes. We met Ash when we were looking to buy and really liked him hence choosing Currans as we found him quite different from many estate agents we'd dealt with - he seemed very sincere and genuinely interested in people, finding out your needs and communicating really well always doing what he said he would. We have met many estate agents when we have been buying, where you can't get through to them on the phone to book in a viewing, or they turn up late or they don't really listen to your needs. Currans and Ash were the complete opposite and the whole team provided a fantastic service. We will only ever use Currans from hereon in and I will recommend to all my family and friends who are buying and selling - their percentage very reasonable too and is value for money we think. We nearly went with an estate agent where you pay up front but thank goodness we didn't as the reviews were really bad in terms of once they've got the money they don't try and sell your home and with all the problems we had with the chain we needed an estate agent who would be determined to help get the sale through. Thank you to the whole Currans team for helping us sell our house and making the whole process much less stressful than it could have been.
