Amazing experience with Chester Student Lets!

Amazing experience with Chester Student Lets! We left choosing a house quite last minute compared to everyone else but everyone at the office was amazing! We were very picky but this did not bother them and kept showing us a variety! We ran into a few issues with the first house but this was immediately resolved by the team and they did everything they could to help us! Always very responsive and helpful! The variety of houses is great something for everyone!

Friendly atmosphere and lovely service

The process was very easy and fast. Although, having never done this, I wasn’t sure about a lot of information and the proceedings and wasn’t told sometimes about certain things, as if I was expected to know... so subsequently had to ask questions all the time. But even then, staff were really helpful and understanding about my situation and the girls that showed us around the houses were very nice and chatty and gave us honest opinions and reviews and tips for housing!

Great Student Letting Agency!

Lived with this letting agency for 3 years in a row and everything was perfect. Communication was great for moving in and for repairs. Any problems we had were sorted. The viewing process was easy and we were always shown a lot of properties that all had things that we liked. Stayed in the same house for 2 of the years and we stayed over summer and didn't have to move out at any point which made it so much easier for uni. Then when we did our masters, it was when covid was still a thing and the viewing was so safe and professional

Best student accommodation provider in Chester!

The girls in the office really have gone above and beyond during our time at uni! They really made us feel like not only did we have someone who could provide us with all the advice we need and some lovely houses but also the support you would want in like a friend! They really do make a difference in your university journey and we couldn’t have imagined living with anyone else these past two years. Thank you so much for not only providing us with a gorgeous home but also for all those times that you provided us with advice and guidance throughout our uni journey. It really was an added touch that even at the freshers fairs and events they held in their office they always recognised us, knew us by our names and greeted us as though we were all just friends! They made the whole experience really comfortable and we would recommend Chester Student Lets in a heartbeat! They are so understanding and genuinely want to help you as a student, and they really do know their stuff, because they’ve gone through it themselves! Thank you so so much for all of your support and helping us have a great time whilst living in Chester!

Great communication and support

Girls in office are really friendly and always greet you with huge smiles. Must be comforting for the students. Always efficient when trades have to collect keys and great to see that tenants are always notified of us having to gain access to complete works instead of us interrupting them or being refused access because they haven’t been told. Really well run agency and can’t fault our experience with them!

Very helpful and diligent in helping me and 5 other students find a decent house for our third year of uni. They spent a lot of time with us, walking around the Garden Lane area helping us find the perfect house for us and wouldn't give up until we were happy and had found the right one. Would definitely recommend to prospective students at the University of Chester!

These are more than women. They are Goddesses. Ontop of my accomodation issues they aided me with my day to day issues. My hair. Took the time to expertly bleach my hair and RETURN to their own job. Chester Student Lets are a scamming shambles of a letting agency! They use constant threats to scare tenants in to paying extra charges and also threaten bailiff visits! I have never been so stressed, upset or scared about somewhere that is supposed to be my home! Houses are contaminated in black mould, damp walls, cracked walls, exposed plastering and lack of sufficient electrical safety due to exposed wires everywhere! Members of the so called CSL team often enter our home uninvited, without warning and without sufficient ID, which concerns us as to who is accessing our property and even our bedrooms! I get severely anxious whenever I hear from anybody from Chester student let’s and I cannot not wait to move out of this property with a new letting agent who is an absolute angel and nothing like chester student lets agents who are bullies, scare-mongers and downright rude people! I hate this letting agency with a passion and severely hope for them to go out of business and SHUT DOWN! Vile people and a vile business.

CSL review

I rated CSL 5 stars because they've always been friendly, co-operative and helpful. I especially like how we get our own log-ins via the website that we can use to access our landlords' details and report repairs that are needed. This way we can be assured that whatever the problem is, it will be logged and seen to asap, instead of making a call or e-mail to the office that could easily get over looked or missing.. Steve, the maintenance man is very friendly and once selflessly come to our house out of hours on a sunday night to re-set our mains board. He could have waited 'till Monday morning but he knew how urgent our situation was so had no problem to sort the issue out quickly. Myself and my housemates (7 others) have never had any friction with the staff at CSL. Deserved 5 star rating :)
