GoogleI experienced the worst year of my life renting with Chester student lets. I lived in a shared property with an absolute nightmare of a house mare and was given no support whatsoever by the team. When confronting Chester student let about the issue and how it was effecting my mental health from having things stolen from communal areas to trying to break into my room at 4am, they gave absolutely no care or support. I has a plethora of evidence to prove that many of the issues that I and all other house mates at the time were suffering was breaching the contract, but no care was given. I personally had to contact the police on several occasions due the threats, attempted break ins and abuse by an individual living in my house and Chester student lets simply didn’t care. If you are considering renting with them, DONT. I would also like to add that they often visit the property for viewings or just when they want without giving 24hr notice ( which they are legally required to do)

GoogleLovely staff who are super friendly and welcoming. We were looked after by both Luke and Jenny, they really took the time to consider our needs and showed us a house that was PERFECT. They answered questions completely and were really open and transparent about any costs, as well as showing exactly what systems and methods we can use to report any problems. The house was spotless when we arrived and all the facilities are in perfect working order. I’d really really recommend them if you are looking to rent in Chester !

These folks are mercenary unhelpful and offer a very poor service. I have a student let in Chester and they gave poor advice, got very poor tenants and I can not recommend them at all. Their business does not exist in a vacuum and my advice to you as a nascent landlord is to utterly avoid them. There are others on the same street and others elsewhere. The property concerned was in Hayes Park. Do not fake news contact me thank you. I stand by my feedback which I observe is far from unique in Chester for your business.

GoogleI have nothing but good words to say about Chester student lets themselves! They always have great customer service and are approachable, however, if you are going to let a house for them that is under an agency I would highly recommend you look for a different house which is under Chester Student Lets control. The private agency I have experienced have no care for their tenants at all, and are far more concerned with the money they get out of you, than they care about their tenants well being. If you’re looking for a place to live peacefully, without the constant presence of a maintenance team (who often turned up unannounced!!! which may I add is against the law!) then look for a property that is run by the lovely people at Chester Student Lets and stay away from any house under a private landlord!!!

All the staff have been very friendly and are amazing when it comes to maintenance, always getting issues resolved quickly. Would recommend!!!

GoogleMake sure you actually want to move into the house because they will make you find a replacement tenant and then take half of your advanced rent you had paid. Basically doing their job for them and then pocketing cash to change names over. Appear nice at first but rude once you’ve signed the contract x

GoogleTracy and the team were incredibly helpful and helped me to readvertise my room. A few times I came into the office and they were always to supportive and tried their best to help me! Thankfully my room has been taken - throughout the process Tracy always kept in touch via email to let me know what was going on. I can’t thank the team enough and would recommend any University of Chester students looking for accommodation to go to CSL, all the rooms are really nice and fair priced, I’m sure they will have a room that will suit your needs! I cannot recommend renting with Chester Student Lets enough!! All the staff have been lovely and helpful and they always take time to repair any maintenance issues quickly and efficiently. The house is a lovely house for students and provides adequate living space for everyone!!
